my heart goes out to all the families that have been affected by the recent events. i cannot even begin to imagine the pain they must be feeling. i know this video isn't as lighthearted as usual, but the reality is, these events ARE happening and they need to STOP. and as a small creator, i can't sit here and do nothing.
please take the time to reach out to your loved ones, educate yourself, support asian creators and local business, and spread awareness! my grandparents and parents are some of the strongest people i know, and i never would have imagined that i would be worried sick about their safety at this age.
youtube has not yet given me access to set up a community fundraiser, so i will be donating the monetization from this video to AWA, where the profits will be distributed to various organizations "dedicated to fighting asian hate and driving social, political, and economic change for the AAPI community."
