German shepherd are intelligent, furthermore it's owners how they raise them. Also German shepherd are used in Indian forces as sniffers due to high intelligence and scent recognition. Some of the dogs breed in the list are really ferocious, Its very difficult to raise them.

You can say whatever you want but facts don't match your statement. Even UK has put bans on these certain dog breeds because of sheer aggressiveness. However, I strongly disagree with your statement that somehow it is the sole responsibility of owner how the dog turns out. Pitbull constitutes 68.6% of total attacks whereas Rottweiler constitutes 10.4% and that itself speaks volumes.

I have the same thought, you said with facts. I would say the dog culture and dogs that made by the europeans banned. In UK they made existing dogs to be MUZZLED but in India they missed to say muzzle them. Safety is the key

Sir I saw many Videos where Street dogs attacked on child or even on Adults. Not even they just attacked but the injury became fatal. Now tell me who is responsible for them? Secondly Banning is not the solution there should be a license procedure which ensure that Dog owners are educated enough to handle such Dogs. I owe one Cane Corso and we don’t even use the Chain when taking him outside. In most cases the chained dogs are most aggressive because they are not socialise well and it’s totally clear from beginning if your dog has tendency to attack or not you can take necessary action.

Government should focus on street dogs. They also bark at night due to which we suffer problem in sleeping many times I come back home at night from the library and they try to bite i have faced more than 3 major accidents due to dogs . I am not against street dogs 🙂

Bohot achha decision hai and i totally support our govt. Iske sath street dogs ke liye bhi shelter banaye jane chahiye jaha unko food ke kiye idhar udhar na bhatakna pade isse kaafi road accident hone se bach jayenge. Shelter ka dusra fayeda yeh hai ki agar kisi ko dog adopt karna hoga to woh direct shelter se adopt kar sakta hai. Iske alawa hamari govt ko hamare Indian breed's ko bhi poori duniya me promote karna chahiye hamare desi dogs kisi se bhi kam nahi hain. Infact agar hum sahi se apne street dogs ko hi trained and dog shows me present kare to unse behtareen koi dog breed hai hi nahi. Har kisi ki diffrent requirements hoti hain kisi ko family dog chahiye to kisi guard dog chahiye. But if anyone notice hamare street dog's me Family + Guard dog dono ki ability mojud hoti hain. Unka Life span kam se kam 13 se 15 saal ka hota hai with no health issue. Inko dog food ki bhi jarurat nahi ghar ki 2 roti or doodh par bhi paloge to maze se reh sakte hain.

a survey on dog bite cases on such breeds vs our Indian stray dogs would be interesting to see... m sure strays wud win the battle. aur agar aisa hua toh, kya ab india mein kutte ban ;) Kutte hai bhai, kaat te toh hai... breed mein aggression nai hota. Puppy stage se usko kaise owner/parent ne bada kiya hai, woh farak pad ta hai... breeding dogs for fighting shud be banned yea, but determining them as aggressive breeds and banning them as pets is stupid and immature decision. Jai bharat!!!

If i own a lion and if it kills someone. Then may be it's not the mistake of Lion, but it doesn't means Lion should be allowed to be petted. There is inherent "aggressiveness" in some animals. Similar is the case with some species of Dog. specially dogs like Pitbull. May be dog is not at fault, does not means it is same as labrador in behavior.

This decision of centre govt. is not right. Its look like that no research has been done to prepare this list. Moreover its look like that 23 guard dog breeds has been picked up and mentioned to be banned.

Mere pas pta nhi kha se ek Croatian Sheepdog aa gya, mai paidal ghum rha tha aur wo peeche se aise akar Mila kaise kab se janta ho, aur ab tak wo hamre Ghar ke aage rhta hai. Shayad abandoned hai ye bhi..

The thing is that india is overpopulated we dont have play ground for kids or a area where dog owners can walk their dogs at anytime of day you will see people roaming around or talk for a long time on footpaths

Street dogs k lia rules lana jada jaruri tha. Kuki street dogs hi jada attack krte hai publics pe. Har jagha GSD, Rottweilers etc nahi ghumta hai.

Sir mera pass Rottweiler dog breed hai. Par wo kav v kishe ko kuch nahi bolta hai. Jabtak koie mera family ko Disturb nahi kara. Wo to shab sha milta hai. Yaha Tak kie dushra ka baccha v ushka sath khalta hai. ish main humre kya galti hai. Koie v aa ka mila mera dog sha aur agar wo kuch bol diya to. Aur ek baat mera Rottweiler jaysha pura Muzaffarpur main nahi hai.

Owners dog ko nahi samjhte thik hai lekin sarkar to owners aur dogs dono ko samajhti hai! Puri dunya ka data dekho to kutto se kaafi jyaada logo ki jaan jaati hai ya ghayal hote hai, shakale bigaad dete hai logo ki! Sarkar k iss decision ko salute!

Best Dog of India is Desi Indian Dog/ Indian Pariah Dog. Mere pass ek hai...or akela hi 4-5 dogs par bhari pad jata hai... because hum usko achhi diet dete hain...he is healthy and very intelligent... Ghar me chhote bade sab log hai...Aaj Tak kisi ko bite nahi kiya...even Ghar ke chhote bachhe uske mooh me hath daal dete hain , khelte hain but kabhi wo aggressive nahi hua... that's why I like Indian dog...mere liye he is Best dog..
