i love how every time rachel says that school is hard, she makes sure to mention that she's thankful for where she is and the opportunities she's getting. i feel like so many people get caught up in the grind and complain a lot about everything they have to do, instead of looking at the positive side of learning and discovering new things and studying for your dream job. i'm trying to keep the same mindset this school year that rachel has! :)

Helpful tips for Exam Preparation in Medical School👇 Pre-read the material. During lectures, professors usually disclose the topics they will cover during the following class. Participate in class and take notes. Go home and review the study material. Begin studying for your exams as soon as possible.

Just finished 1st week of dental school 2nd year and I’m beat. Went into clinic for the first time after 6 months and I’ve lost most of all the skills I learnt for 6 months but just gotta keep practicing. We mainly have classes online and our cadaver sessions aren’t starting till November now ...... it’s going to be an interesting year the least 🤔😊🇬🇧

Not in med school, but I am a Junior pre med 😅. Class started two weeks ago for fall semester and WOW I’m drowning in assignments, and there’s a lot of info I need to revisit since I began studying for the mcat this summer 🥺 I feel you, and I know we’ll both do very well in the future 🥰

I just went back and recapped an older video where you were talking about crying in videos. Personally, I love seeing it--whether it's every video or once in a blue moon. I think it's important to show the reality of university and in your case medical school. I'm wanting to go back to grad school (hopefully law school) and back when I did my BA I know there were times where I just cried. Sometimes from stress, sometimes just because (let's be real, it was likely stress too). It doesn't make you bad at what you do, or a failure, or any of the other nasty comments they said. You need to release your emotion and most of do that through tears. Some do it through anger, too. Some do it by working out, or reading or, whatever it is they do. The people who've been there know what it's like, or can empathize based on what they experienced, and the other's who haven't been don't. Just keep doing you and showing the real experience. :)
