Not at all. You can apply for any program in the UK regardless of age, as far as you meet the entry requirements. As regards coming with family/ dependants, it applies to any program. Yes, you can! Hi, You definitely need a science background to study nursing

It depends on several factors really. Your coming with the 3 kids, will you be coming with anyone else, probably a spouse or family? What are the ages of the kids? These questions are kinda rhetorical but to make you understand what to consider. Child care here is serious and you can't leave children alone in the house by themselves and if you are to pay, it depends on your financial buoyancy.

With nursing early application is important . Because the selection process is quite long so they start early. No school is still collecting January applications now . You can start early to apply for September intake . If you want to go for social work teeside may still be taking application for January 2022 intake .

Hi, It's best to check the entry requirements of the universities you wish to apply to.

As long as have a Bsc you can apply for pre registration nursing . It’s a 2 year programmer instead of 1 year . Just send applications to as many schools as possible and remember to start early . Make a sting cv with relevant health care experience and don’t forget your personal statement should be well detailed . Good luck 👍🏼

The route you take to achieve a qualification does not have impact on your employability as far as you have the required qualification from an accredited uni. I was wondering why you want to come I for health care management, whereas you have nursing in mind... Why not come in for nursing directly. I have a planned video coming on graduate nursing. A Nigerian nurse I usually consult for questions relating to nurse has on many occasions advised against graduate nursing. I'll still bring her on my channel soon.

It depends on the University. I'll suggest you contact the university first before applying. As suggested in the video, you can always have access to universities before application to make enquiries.

You can… there are a couple of Unis that accept any degree. The only issue would be your grade. When your course isn’t really health related they prefer those with a 2.1 grade. But you definitely still stand a chance and you should email the schools.

There are a lot of them. Some for January starts and some for September. You have to start applying early because it’s a very very competitive course for admission. For September 2022, start applying now. Read the entry requirements very well. You need healthcare related experience to be considered and it increases your chance of getting admitted. You can get that experience from any accredited hospital near you (help out and learn how to do blood pressure, pulse, temperature, bed baths and different simple stuff. Wishing you all the best.

Hi Chiamaka, the placements are not paid. They are part of your training/education. Yes, yes, yes! You can still work. For undergraduates, you have loads of holidays than masters and if someone like me who has got loads of placement days in my masters programme in Social Work can work, you too can! 😀

Hi, That's a good step. I know someone who took that step. After his studies, he could help a job with NHS or Public Health England and get certificate of sponsorship from them. Afterwards, he can start writing PLAB exams. After then, he can apply for jobs to work as a medical doctor.

Hi, from what I heard from a friend who's a nurse over here, you don't need that. It does not even guarantee you a job in the UK. Since you're a registered nurse already, why not write IELTS and other exams for nurses and get a job that will sponsor your visa and coming over? You can check NMC website if you have further questions..

Hi, is it undergraduate or masters? If undergraduate, it'll be the GCSE equivalence in your country. If it's masters, your previous degree, other certifications and experience will be important. More so, I'll advice you check the university's entry requirements.

Hi, It's enhanced DBS. You need to get police report from your country and the DBS will be completed in the UK with the police clearance certificate.

@@heenaroy30 you just need to get police clearance certificate from your country. It is also called certificate of good conduct (it depends on the country) You can check the process of getting it in your country. When you then come over to the UK, with that, you can then completed the enhanced DBS check. You can't do the check outside the UK.

If you apply with your waec alone then you will be going for Bsc studies . Apply with your Bsc certificate but you need to show proof of experience in your cv and personal statement no matter how small . Some schools like east anglia and Bournemouth unis are not big on experience . However selection process for MSc nursing is quite tough as you will have to complete an RPL before they make your offer unconditional . Since your waec is new they may waive ielts for you

@@SPORTSRecords0607 I gave that answer because most people don’t know that you can study nursing in the UK without an undergraduate degree in nursing . However , if you want to study at BSc level then you may use just your WAEC. But why study for 3 years when you can do it for 2 years . Remember the longer your course , the more IHS fee you pay and it’s not cheap .Good luck!

Undergraduate nursing and every other undergraduate course in the UK is 3 years. With the foundation year, it makes a total of 4 years.
