We should improve our education system. New courses like machine learning should be introduced in colleges and remove that non relevant old courses. New job opportunities should be there Encourage students for practical learning rather than rattafication Teacher student ratio should be improved New skills should be taught to students like emotional quotient,communication skills etc.

It's not ground reality Of kota sir, most of ur facts are correct but closing of coaching, stopping the test etc. Is not the exact reason even from previous 1.5yrs tests are taken in 28 days interval and the test is for analysing the mistakes not for increasing pressure on students

This video reminds me my result day on Kota . Only for 2 marks I was out from IIT . On that day , I also decided to commit suicide but after result, my parents came to my city and they helped me a to come out from the depressed condition. Thanks God now I am not a iitian but I am a successful entrepreneur with a net worth 2.5 cr .

I think most of the problem with Kota is not to do with either the students or the Coaching Institutions but with mostly the society associated with it and the absurd standards for the students, the Kota would be a far better place if the Guardians and Society treat it as a institutional village not the path by which the students will attain the Societies failed dreams.

As a student who barely qualified the jee advanced exam, I can tell you that the toughness of this exam is also very much. Like the students who are in 12th standard are supposed to solve those types of questions which even a graduated student can’t solve. And then again the amount of seats available.. I think IITs should think about the toughness of the examination as well. The whole preparation journey really fucks up the physical and mental state of the body. I can say those were the most traumatic days of my life yet…

Abhi kota m hi hu....or aaj hostel association ne sabhi students k liye Dance and music Concert ho raha hai....For Decreasing suicide cases.....suicides hone ka one of the main reason h Allen or baki badi coachings out of syllabus cheeze phdate rehte hai , jaanbujhkr load dala jata hai or topper ko alag nikal lete h , fir baki baccho ko next year dobara addmission k liye vicious circle m daalna.....ye sab chalta rehta hai......70% students repeat karte rehte hai baar baar or iss se inki Zeb garm hoti h......Jaanbujhkr kiya jata hai sab....or 50% cases to reported hi nhi hote....Sab milkr students ka Kaat rahe h.....

I went kota in 2010. Situation was not that bad that time coz there war no social media -> no comparison-> no high expectations. I couldn't clear JEE that time but today I'm at much better place that what kota could offer me that time.

Being a cat aspirant myself taking coaching I can somewhat understand the mindset of the students and the competition they are facing. Weekly tests and competitions are definitely a lot stressful, but they are not final verdicts. They are just an opportunity to know where you lack and work in that area. I would genuinely suggest to anyone that it is better to first utilize the numerous online contents available from home and self-prepare for at least one year. See what percentile you get in the real competition. After that join a coaching. This way, before you start coaching you will be more aware of your own strengths and weaknesses, the syllabus, and what exactly you need coaching for. This way you can best reap the benefits of coaching.

जिस बच्चे ने स्कूल में कभी 80-90 से नीचे स्कोर ही नहीं किया जिसको हमेशा से बधाइयां ही मिली हो जब उसे पहली बार टेस्ट में कम स्कोर मिलता है तो वो इसको बर्दाश्त ही नहीं कर पाता

The main reason behind this can be increasing population and decreasing job opportunity 1. From 2016 till 2023 around 22cr aspirants fill the form of different government job but only 7 lack got recommend or selected 2. The limited vacancy can also be the main reason bhehind this deu to increasing population vacancy are not increasing in and sectors of government 3. The teachers are also be the part of these suicidal activity now days teachers are not worried about the students they are just worried about the money "how they can earn money " before the exam some teacher are not abel to complete the syllabus on time and befor few months of exam they start rushing the syllabus.

It should be mandatory to provide counseling sessions to these students who are under so much pressure. Coaching centre atleast appointment a professional counselor so that students can discuss issues with them.

Aur parents consider mental problem a taboo, they never allow it untill the parents are themselves aware enough jo ki indiw me rare h, even In educated parents.

My brother is dealing with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) but we can't help it, everyone is suffering becoz of my brother, even my father too... But still my father is not admitting that he was wrong not consulting to a doc in regard of my brother.... 😵💫😵💫😔😔

I was in kota in year 2013.. It's about students and parents how they take competition.. Year 2015,In first attempt i secured 11k rank in neet ug n couldn't took any seat, in year 2016, 13k rank.. I took bds(dental) in 3rd attempt 2017,6000 rank.. I have completed my mbbs n gonna give neet pg next year.. I can totally assure i got best teachers there, they are always so motivating, they never pressurise me ever, always was like koshish karo hona nhi hona bhagwan k hath me.. N it's totally ok to be a little bit pressurised..in real life it make you strong.. And most importantly you said about up n bihar students.. I wanna tell you.. I m from bihar.. I m doctor.. My brother is from iit kharagpur.. N i m first generation doctor n he is 1st generation iitan.. Parwarish matters..

I am a student currently studying in a big institute in Kota. Studying 16 hours a day for any student in not possible we study we study maximum of 12-13 hours of day including coaching lectures. and 11th and 12th class students do not have that kind of pressure if they to Home work regularly. Mai.n problem starts when they start skipping homework . Next day that will become backlog and students keep thinking about it . If they want to clear that they have to compromise current topic . This process continues and at the end students get depressed due to huge backlog .. Due to backlogs their score in tests keeps decreasing.. this is the major reason of depression in Kota. Mai yaha padhta hu yaha ke baare me ek ek cheez malum hai kya hoti hai kya nahi...

It is not the mistake of coaching centers., but the mindset of few students and parents. In Kota etc coaching for NEET, IIT etc are conducted. Those exams are not like matriculation exam but are highly competative. To pass such exams very very hard work is necessary....... You have to spend sleepless nights to make you ahead of others. A few students are unable to tolerate the extreme pressure and the hard rules.... and commit suicide. Unless you have a competitive mind , will power and consistency you can't succeed. If training is like a tour programme, You can't Succeed. For competative exams lakhs of students spend sleep less nights for studying. Then how can you succeed without hard work? If you are not at all able to work hard, then join other easy courses like BSc, etc........ Remember NEET and IIT are not the only way to succeed in life

Its not just one factor. Society and parental pressure to be a top performing student, get into a good college, make a name for your parents, get 1-2 crore package, etc. Also, mental health which is treated as taboo in india for some reason. Talk to anyone about mental health and they'll say you're trying to promote westernization or give useless solutions instead of promoting therapy and counselling. And also our education system which has necessiated the use of coaching centres. The fact is, our education system places too much importance on memorization, even in subjects like maths and science. Make our education skill and concept based, reduce the importance of exams and focus on extracurriculars, interviews, skill development of children instead of memorization and we won't need all these coaching centres. The fact that we have the hardest entrance exams in the world is not something to be proud of when they cause so many deaths every year.

I AM FROM KOTA we can not blame any one part of this city. Every person of society, every institute, every industry, every market is making such conditions here. Hostels are also the biggest reason, so we can't blame directly to coaching.. a student commit suicide because of his/her mental health, and the mental health disbalancewith many reasons like Food Quality, Industry behaviour ect..

Aur coachings start ke 2 mahine bhut slow pace pr padhate h jisse student pressurised feel na kre aur refund na le .

Today, the job is now considered as a social status by parents and society. If you are preparing for JEE/NEET, then your future is bright and you are a good student but if you are from Commerce field then you are considered least by the society. Hence, parents are getting influenced by JEE/NEET and asking from their childrens to prepare for JEE/NEET only, whether the child is mean to be or not. The trauma and mental pressure the child holds who have their goals beyond this or in another field is unexpressable. Parents feel free after sending their child to Kota. This is also one of the reasons why the suicide rates are increasing, espaecially in Kota.

Our education system promotes getting a job attitude, which is not wrong. But if you are looking at a 5-6 lakh package immediately after graduation, this attitude is wrong. That is why children are forced to take science. Non Science students start with a salary of 1-2 lakhs per annum and grow quickly in 3-4 yrs. Non Science opportunities are there in Sales, Designing, Hotels, Travel, Tourism, Repairing (mobiles or vehicles), Accounts, Teaching etc. The purpose of education is to identify your strengths and weakness and choose your career accordingly. Ideally your teacher should be your best career counselor and not your marks. Finally even if you score 95 in tenth, science is a totally different animal. Choose your stream wisely.

Actually Motivational Seminars Bhi Bahut Jyada Pressure create karte hai. Kyonki har action pehle hue action ka reaction hota hai or aise me sabhi ka mind set and capabilities alag alag hoti hai to ye jaruri nahi ki jo kaam kisi ne kar dikhaya ho motivate hoke ham bhi same wahi kaam kare.

Students don,t do this ,parents don,t put your pressure on students. if you don,t get selection don,t worry ,there are lots of other options like singing upsc and many more other options where you will reach on such a height where you will open your own hospitals and give jobs to such a neet doctors . Students think , Did Ambani select in neet? Did Elon musk select in a tiny neet?

Jo log bol rahe hai ki parents or society se bohot pressure hota hai to doctor ban ne ke baad is se bhi jada pressure hota hai abhi ye handle nhi kar pa rahe to doctor ban ne ke baad kya karoge. 11 years has been past the situation is same rather it is worse now . Thanks to my parents and friends.We 3 friends went together faced several problems like land lord problem, worst food or mess and low quality teachers. Luckily we three get into iit delhi due oue own hard work and consistency we took help from kanpur coaching faculty ashish, anish, pankaj in the end to clear exam . Kota is worse and it will be .

Counseling sessions by the collector (govt) should be made compulsory for all the students and their parents, who want to take admission in Kota. These sessions should include - An undertaking by the student that he has not been forced by parents to come to Kota - The fees paid should not exceed 3 months to any institute or hostel and should have option to go back, in case not able to cope up. - The loan taken by parents is not the responsibility of the student. - A written Plan B or C to be submitted in case child not able to crack exams. This step will to some extent deflate the stress faced by students.

Recently I faced this horrible situation. I admitted in master's degree program last year but couldn't perform well, hence been in depression.Aftef that I decided to dropped out of college.But my mother don't support me. It is necessary to have parental support to the students. All the best!!!!!!!!
