Russian Oligarch who used to launder their money out of Russia and into European countries are now forced to invest their it in their own country. Russia has launched its own version of "made in india" to boast its consumer based industries in order to achive self sufficientnes . Russian oil and mineral sales are all time high as well .

@@striker44 Their population is too small. They are rich. That's why democracy works best there. In US, it took a century to come into democracy they didn't directly made a new nation as democratic. Most African backward countries are actually democratic and that itself paved the way for autocracy because strongmen can then easier to grab power over poor, illiterates. China, Soviet Russia are 2 large nations that came out of poverty within a few decades due to benovelent autocracy.
