Same. Their energies seem so strident in opposition. I think Tommy deserves credit for adapting. Chris seems to be a tricky companion.
@spencerazure81622 жыл бұрын
The argument Chris should have used is that scientific research, studies, and articles are primarily written only in English because there is a lower chance of misunderstanding the information. This is due to other languages relying on subtext and there aren't many people outside of the country that would know the language well enough to read it, let alone use it as a reference in their own papers. English is a major world language because many countries have their citizens learn it as a second language. So putting papers and such out in English only, helps the information disseminate globally and increase advancements.

I get what Chris was saying about English though...i think the best example would be the word salsa or taco...it's obviously a Spanish word but it's used so commonly at this point, you don't even think about it as being a foreign word...it's just been absorbed into the lexicon of words we use on a daily basis...

This is amazing. Chris has a point because English is a global language, used in aviation and finance / trade. But the boys are right that the abuelas will keep speaking their native language and most likely English will become an extremely common 2nd language. Kind of like how Montreal is slowly becoming more English
