The Stug (Sturmgeschütz) is one of the most popular vehicles of the German panzerwaffe and one of the most famous tank destroyers. Every lover of modeling has heard about it, and the specific appearance of this vehicle catches the eye.

Wonderful result! I always use AK RC Dunkelgelb Nach Muster for Dunkelgelb on models. It’s the most accurate colour of any model paint I’ve tried. Great work on the shark mouth. You said you need a steady hand, and you certainly have one. I’m not sure I could pull that off. 😂 Looking forward to see how it comes out after weathering.

What do you think of this detail idea? A broken drive sprocket or some such, hung on the tank. The new one is just in the base hull red. Might be a neat little detail in a dio?

1. The tank looks fantastic!👍👍Question: What are the books that you used for ideas of colour & camo scheme?🤔 2. I do not have very steady hands, so also I prefer to paint wheels, tools, spare tracks, etc separately.🙂 3. I am very impressed with your attention to detail! .e.g. the tracks with open guide horns were weathered differently than tracks with solid guide horns, because of different ages. This is an idea I had never considered prior to this video! Thank you! 👍 4. I have always thought about the arm length of soldiers applying camouflage, but you are the first person I have heard mention the issue in a video.👍

Btw, why are you worry about paint accuracy? If you took a late 1943 production tank and painted with a 1944 scheme, with early 1943 colours mixed with 1945 thones? That dont have any sense. Enjoy the paint and forget that point.

I do what I like, that's all. Dont care about shade but try to keep colors with some sense. :):):)

That books from AK are pure sci-fi, dont have any single accuracy.. are trash. The worst thing is because many was taking from different vehicles, not the original and the 70% are invented, worst than Ammo books of the same. The best references are always real pictures. Books from paint brands are only good if came from Vallejo, the rest is really bad.

Well for modelling they are quite good. I know the failures but this is not the life or death matter. :):):)
