Without Hedy LaMar, there would be no cell phones.

Not true. The technology would have been developed by someone else if Hedly Lamarr hadn't been involved.

Hedy Lamarr was either extremely dense or temporarily deaf. It took her forever to realize her team already said Executioner. Hedley Lamarr would never have made that mistake.

Is there any way to get the episode from 10th December 1962 with the cast of Rawhide?

So how did they have one host for Pantomime Game Time then another for exactly the same by another title Stump the Stars then back to the first host?

"Pantomime Quiz Time" ran as a syndicated show in the 1940s and 50s with Mike Stokey as host and producer. In 1963, Mike Stokey convinced CBS to add the game show to their prime time network lineup. CBS liked the idea but wanted a new name and host to differentiate it from people's memory of "Pantomime Quiz Time." This meant that Mike Stokey was on-board as producer, but not host, when "Stump the Stars" debuted on CBS. Par Harrington Jr. served as host, but his delivery proved stiff and CBS decided a new host was needed. Mike Stokey was waiting in the wings for that moment and quickly reclaimed hosting duties.

The official title was always "PANTOMIME QUIZ" (although it varied for a time in the early 1950's). The series was usually presented as a summer replacement on virtually all of the networks between 1950 and 1959; very rarely was it scheduled during the regular TV seasons. And yes, it was syndicated at times for certain periods, including 1964 repeats of "STUMP THE STARS".

I don't know what was up with Hedy LaMar, but she acted like she didn't get the game when it came her time to do the pantomime

Sorry, Hedy Lamar, considered by some to be the most beautiful actress in screen history, and who was an actual inventor on important projects. . . is utterly the worst participant I've ever seen on Stump the Stars.

Pat Harrington was awful as host. Forgetting a panelist's name?
