The Moon Harvest Festival DLC has nothing to do with Chinese New Year. It refers to the Mid Autumn Festival that is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, which is around mid to late September.

Sending the plates to the oven for the mooncakes seems like extra work. Ash and price can just plate on their side. Also you could throw ingredients at the top to save space on the conveyor!

How did they not see in the many times they retried that level when they kept having to say “Hit your button” that it would’ve been easier for Jas and Aenne to put the finished cakes on the conveyor instead of having Price and Ash send them plates and then they plate it and send it back when the plates started and were cleaned on Ash and Price’s side?

CNY is celebrated not just on the new year's day, but the whole two weeks up to the 15th day (someone mention it's one month long in Vietnam), so this content is not too late 😄 happy CNY everyone! A small note about the mooncake: we don't eat mooncakes on CNY. It's for celebrating mid-autumn festival, which is still months away. I'll give it a pass though since in my country (Indonesia) we can eat mooncakes all year long, with multitudes of fillings such as chocolate, pork (or any halal substitutes), durian, etc. The traditional mooncake, however, is only available during the festival. The devs might have mixed the mooncakes to a CNY content, while there should be plenty of CNY dishes to include, but probably the game mechanics need nontrivial adjustment to do so. I wonder how watermelon-filled mooncakes taste like... Honestly, the conveyor belt colors in 1-3 always caught me off guard, as I associate red with the incorrect path (leading to trash bin) and others (esp. green) with the correct path. I know the main color is red, but still... 😅

Couldnt they just send the entire cooked bowl back to price and ash so they wouldnt have to send the plated mooncake and mixing bowl all that way

just to clarify, Chinese new year and moon festival aren't the same thing, it might seem a little disrespectful to asians' culture. No offense tho I luv y'alls content and overcooked im just Chinese so it pains me when ppl mix up our culture. Anyways no hate luv you!!
