Hello everyone!
Welcome and in this video I will show you how I made beautiful home decor doing reverse decoupage and using a mercury glass spray paint finish . I think it turned out so beautiful. Simple easy DIY doing decoupage and creating a beautiful mercury glass finish. So grab some mercury glass finish spray paint and give this a try.

I did this effect last Halloween and made a couple ‘magic mirrors’ (from Snow White) with the queen;s words on the mirror…….I sold both of them first thing! And I got 3 more orders to make for other customers……it more than paid for my mirror effect spray, which is awesome. Thanks for sharing this great idea!

I just rewatched this video. Could I do this to a lamp? I have a brass lamp that I would like to up date. I assume I would have to paint the lamp first, maybe silver? I would appreciate any advice.

You could paint the lamp black and then do the mirror effect on top of it and you would get a pretty beautiful result

I have an old mirror, that is still in pretty good shape, as far as the reflection. Have you ever aged a mirror that has an almost perfect reflection? I am not sure if you already have a video like that, but I don't think I have seen one. Anyway, I would like to put something on this mirror, like a graphic, but I would have to put the graphic on the front of the mirror, and I am worried about how it will look. I have seen people use the IOD transfers, but I don't have them, so I am wondering how a tissue paper graphic would look on the front of the mirror, rather than the back of the glass, like you did here, or even making a stencil on my Cricut, and paint a graphic onto the front of the mirror. Also, I am wondering how a top coat, like a polyurethane type, would look on the glass, if I put a tissue paper graphic on it. Would it be better to paint the top coat on with a brush, or use a polyurethane spray? I want to try, but I am worried that it might ruin my mirror. Anyway, this turned out beautiful. I love that you aren't afraid to try anything.

So many options!! I would think it would look best from the back but I haven't done one that was already a mirror. I will have to experiment!

There are products that will "age" your mirror. But aging it involves removing some of the reflective coating . Once you do that ,you will be able to see through to the back like glass. You can then put a graphic on back. What ive seen most folks do is age it to where it removes some but not all the reflective coating

I just recently subscribed to your channel and I enjoy the content however the audio sounds like you’re in a giant room there’s a lot of echo you should consider getting a microphone to get much better sound quality in your videos
