A judge paused actor Alec Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter trial Friday, as she considered a new motion by the actor’s legal team to have the case thrown out based on allegations prosecutors did not properly turn over evidence.

Evidence is Evidence, the Prosecution does not decide it's admissibility - a judge decides that. One thing is clear, ALL Evidence whether the Prosecution intends to use it or not is legally required to be turned over to the Defense.

This needs to be dismissed. He is an actor playing a part. The person they hired to do the job of taking care of the weapons on the set is to blame. Doing business in Arizona is a very bad thing for a person who openly speaks the truth about the orange one … putting any money into Arizona’s economy with filming is ridiculous

SAG regulations stipulate that you never point a weapon at anyone on set. You're supposed to aim at least 15 degrees to the side. It's all camera angles just to make it look as if you're actually pointing at someone. People have still died from blanks.

@@scottrutter2881 exactly... somehow the judge agreed not to let that be allowed in the case. He got lucky. The woman's family should do like Brown family after OJ was found innocent... sue him in civil court.

He looks terrible. It was time for this to be over for him. EDIT: the fact remains he still has to live with this for life. That, in itself, is punishment enough. The judge dismissed his case…it’s no surprise as he should’ve never gone to trial to begin with, imo.

Sure, it was and always will be a fateful accident but I don’t believe he purposefully set out to shoot and kill her and no matter what the outcome of the trial would’ve been, for him, the fact remains that he will live with this for life. One’s that don’t like him, as a person, want to continue to crucify him. I’m glad it’s over for him. Hannah showed no remorse and didn’t get enough time, imo. The judge dismissed his case so let Alec have some peace.

There was a firearm expert hired to make sure all weapons were safe. That person failed. Just like if a mechanic was paid to fix an engine and it fails, was it your fault that you didn't take the engine apart to make he put it together right? Logic people.... logic.

This is usually done in the judges chambers and definitely not in front of the jury. This was purposely done in front of the camera. Judge should be replaced.

he has showed no remorse, ran a shady movie set, lied and said he didnt pull the trigger, except that this particular gun will not fire without pulling the trigger. He should be held accountable. Anyone else would be in jail right now, this is ridiculous and shameful for the victims family.
