@@asdwad59asana90 It's probably the biggest noob trap pet in the entire game because while survivability wise it's amazing, the issue is that it's an absolutely useless tank because the pet deals no damage and will never hold aggro. It does no damage and it will never get enough aggro to tank anything, it's the epitome of an actual useless pet.

To be fair Gnomeregan is hot garbage especially for that kind of stuff. There's so much bullshit cheap deaths like that Z axis pull in the instance that it should systematically be skipped. It's completely unfun and in HC it's a death trap. Oh, and the gear is mostly trash too. SM is infinitely better.

@@dubious6718 i remember my friend has this kind of keybind for his pet. i take note.i copy and i bind my vanish and stealt for rogues and inner and shield for priest. it save me alot of time in duels.

The bosses with full aggro on tank just to turn around and bop someone dead and go right back around like it was an accident and as a healer im just "wtf am I suppose to do if you get one tapped." The worst one that I managed to save was actually on me. Can't remember the dungeon name but it was in Cataclysm the underwater one. its got goblins in there that do a wave knock back. I had one spam that knock back on me all the way back to the other end of the hallway and it almost wiped us lol. Entire party was red before I got back to them.

He had a Turtle... Makros don't help you if you stand on bad ground to begin with.

The upside: Maybe that makes the hunter feel a little less guilty. It is frustrating when you make a clear call and someone just blocks it, without having any situational awareness. Sounds like some ego shit going on, that he felt the need to "put you in your place". Good that he lost the character to that for acting up, instead of trying to understand what even was happening before opening his (virtual) mouth.

The upside: Now the hunter can feel a little less guilty. It is frustrating when you make a reasonable call and someone just shuts you down, creating chaos. It sounds like some ego problem, that he felt the need to "put you in your place", not even trying to understand the situation first but turning it into some odd power struggle for no good reason. Good that he lost his character due to his behaviour. Also: well played, warning the group and trying to help them still. I only feel a bit sorry for the healer, because he stayed with the group who dragged him down with them.

Only fight mobs lower level than you and avoid group elite quests.

Pretty sure we had a hunter and rogue in our run and we had no issues. You only vanish/FD as a last resort. If you manage feint and disengage you’ll be the last one alive regardless.

Typically it is a 4 pull. Did it a week or two ago, no issues.

Hc has attracted a lot of new players

@@r75shell Ah alright, I thought about that too but since the corpse is like 1 meter above water I discarded it. But maybe with desync he took the last tick of damage the moment he went out of water so his corpse ended up in the middle of the jump.

The only reason I could think of is, to deactivate auto attack. At least for me, I would cancel everything and untarget the mob but for some fkng reason... When getting auto attacked, it auto selects the mob (all fine so far)... But... My character would start to auto attack again, as I kept mashing the esc button to stop it. It happened occasionally, as I was running from mobs, but made me incredibly mad, when your character is just doing stuff on his own and I don't know how to prevent it from happening, because I already spammed esc, stop clicking any abilities - just running. And then somehow he just goes back to attacking the mob I try to reset, increasing the leash range again. Characters doing stuff on their own and not having controll over your own actions is such a trigger.

I believed he was talking about real life, because he said "my wife died" and not "...lost her character" or something.

He was a Paladin. They have a specific spell called "Divine Intervention". It kills you,shield someone else and It takes them out of combat. You see the bubble around the Priest, after the Paladin died.
