I finished Sherlock a couple of days ago and what can I say? I´m completly in love. I love every single thing about this show and it´s been a real pleasure to descover Benedict Cumberbatch, he´s just amazing, I can´t get enough of him.
And these two... God I love their storyline so much. I had to make something after 4x03. It better be more Sherlock at some point. If not I don´t know what I´m gonna do with myself.

Rexy and Blue Wow interesting point that makes a lot more sense. Him hurting her and it was all for nothing. Btw I have a hard time with being confident and I read an article that totally bashed Molly being a “ Hopless love sick puppy dog” which hurt me. I started wondering if they have feelings for each other again and I just have to say Good writers aren’t going to spell it out for you. Example Rhaegar and Lyanna turns out they were in love despite that many believed He hurt her. I really think the writers know what they’re doing when it comes to an amazing show like Sherlock. Between Molly, Irene, and Janine, I like Molly with Sherlock the best. Only Molly loves him through his darkest, lowest moments. For example, Janine sold her story to the newspaper when she found out Sherlock tricked her. Do you think Janine or Irene would stay by Sherlock when he's abusing drugs on the street? When I first started watching Sherlock years ago, I thought Molly was weak and annoying. After rewatching and growing older, I realized that not only have we all been Molly at some point, but she's so much stronger than anyone ever gave her credit for.

You’re right. Molly is what he needed. Someone who understood him. Was besides him on the worst days and best of him. He put her through some much pain and she still stuck by. I just hope that he ended up with her in the end and not Irene

Tbf it had been like 10 years between the first and last season. I think the first two came out relatively quickly but the rest had multiple years gap. The actors had other huge jobs, had kids etc so naturally they'd look older :)

I love how desperate Sherlock is to save her and after that second “i love you” he discovers it true. Such a strong storyline and such strong character development. I can’t wait to see how the story of them evolves. If there’s ever going to be a next season😂

OOOOH you can actually see the realization on Sherlock's face when Mycroft says the coffin is for someone who loves him, and the change in his breathing when it really hits him... You can see him trying to think and reason and logic a way out of it even before he knows what's coming. Because he knows... he's never been totally unaware that Molly has some level of romantic feelings for him. He's just never addressed those feelings quite so directly. He's always set them aside and kept her at an arm's length. Because although it's nice to know she's there for him, he doesn't want to be open and emotionally vulnerable. And she's always been precisely that. Emotionally vulnerable. For all her scientific logic, reasonable practicality, and professional training, she's often found quietly wearing her heart on her sleeve. She's the one that says she sees him looking sad. She's the one who suggests she could be there for him. She's always the one confronting his lies. And that's always made him uncomfortable. Weak... vulnerable... Human. When he calls her, she won't play his mind games... Instead, she levels the playing field and challenges him to say it first. She makes him act like a human being capable of emotions. And his compartmentalization breaks down. Because, well... he can't just lie and say he loves her... if it's not a lie. Instead, he's being forced to admit something he never would have admitted... Molly Hooper is a weakness. Or maybe, just maybe, he was wrong about emotions making him weaker, because after all Molly has always been there for him.

I wish the coffin smashing had been included at the end, his frustration because he finally admitted it. he knew who it was for the second he saw it. He let emotions rule him, even for a few minutes. He can take it back but that doesn't make it a lie.

For me, yes, Molly is the best. I tend to compared both character and their evolution from pilot to last episode. Man, sherlock comes a long way, from basicly robot to become robot with feeling. Of course he doesn't show affection to opposite sex, but weighing his development, his interaction with Molly is way better than other charracter. Molly deserve better, but for her, sherlock always the best of all

We all need someone to be vulnerable with. Even Sherlock. Especially Sherlock. He can't do that with John because John is a broken man and Sherlock is the one he can be vulnerable with. Sherlock can see through him, that's why he can save him in many ways. There's only one person Sherlock can be vulnerable with and that's Molly Hooper. That's why John always gets to her when Sherlock's bullshit needs to be stopped. It was crystal clear for Eurus and that's why the only person he had to say "I love you" to was Molly. Can you be any more vulnerable than when you open your heart and say these words? What Molly is going through during all four series is torture and yet she won't choose another path because she feels that she has a place in Sherlock's life, that she can help him in a way no one else can. She can't let go and will accept to be the one he leans on, even if it's on rare occasions and even if that hurts like hell, because she loves him. She sacrifices her life and happiness for the love she has for that man, because he might need her one day. Her and no one else. That's so tragically beautiful because he either meant that last "I love you" as a friend (which I'm not really convinced about) and that indeed killed her as Eurus foreshadowed ("someone's about to die"), it killed her emotionally speaking, and she was killed by Sherlock himself, so to say that her heart is broken is an understatement. OR: he meant that "I love you" in a romantic way, which is definitely possible, although that doesn't mean he is ready for her, romantically speaking, because he's Sherlock and does he even grasp the "I love you" romantic concept? Has he ever loved someone in a romantic way? No, he can't even understand what draws him to Irene, so how would he know about Molly? He might have realized something strong at that very moment when saying it for the second time, but although he grew during those four seasons, there's still a tremendously long way to go until he's ready to comprehend and express his feelings like a "normal" human being and be in a healthy relationship. So whether he meant it romantically or not (he probably doesn't know that himself), it killed Molly all the same. Him being ready for a romantic relationship might never happen because that's the tragedy of Sherlock and we love him that way. But it also definitely could happen in a distant future, if we follow the logical growth of the character. It might start with Irene, that would make sense, and other experiences to get him to the right place. So we, Sherlolly fans, might never see Sherlolly happen on screen, but to me, in that Sherlock universe, he gets there someday ultimately, and when he's gone through the experiences he needs to have and is completely ready and balanced, he will be ready for Molly and no one else. Oh and to those saying she is not one of Sherlock's pressure points: please go watch 4x03 again and ask Eurus. Molly is a pure soul, and an incredibly strong and loyal woman. If he's going to be ready for anyone, that can only be for someone who keeps his heart safe. And he surely *knows* his heart will always be safe with Molly, that he will never stop improving as a person around Molly, and that he can be vulnerable with her. She is endgame and no one can convince me otherwise, even if the writers don't seem that enthusiastic. At some point, the characters you create don't belong to you anymore, they surpass you and then they don't serve the story you're telling, but you serve the story they are telling by themselves. Sherlock Holmes is actually the perfect example as Conan Doyle didn't want to keep up with him. But it was too late, Sherlock existed without him and he was forced to let him speak. Sherlock and Molly may not have been written in an endgame kind of way, but they exist now on their own, with what the actors gave them. (Benedict himself said that love for Sherlock would be Molly. Meaning he probably portrayed him through that angle.) What they represent for each other, what comes out of it on screen, cannot be ignored. Beautifully painful video, just how I like them! 2022 and I'm still way too emotional about this show.

Wonderful. This is the best text i've read regarding the relationship between Sherlock and Molly. I have a very similiar, almost the same lecture on them. To me its clear as day that Eurus knew the depth of the conection between those two, and i insist that the writters did wanted at least to left some hints there. I believe the show explore love in its many ways: Sherlock/Irene John/Mary Sherlock/Molly and many others, and as i understand it, Molly is true love for Sherlock. Just as you said, even if season 5 doesn´t happen, to me they make sense as end game. And yeah, you are right about the writing; the character gain ther own life beyond writters intentions. Thank you very much for this beautiful and clear reading on Sherlok and Molly. Its a delight to know there are people who share my ideas too. Greeting!

Heartbreaking for sure, but Sherlock and Molly's bonding has evolved so much from the initial episodes, and while she knows he won't ever love her in the "romantic" sense - I don't think she doubts that he does care for her a lot, that she matters to him, and that he does love her in his own unique way.

This is such a wonderfully edited video of all the scenes with our beloved Sherlock and Molly. It actually brought tears to my eyes because the emotion in that final scene between them is so heartfelt, so real. It tugs at my heartstrings every time I see it. How could anyone not see the chemistry between them when you show it so well through this wonderful video. I only hope I can bring that same emotional value and realism to the stories that I write for them as well. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I've watched a lot of Sherlolly videos. And this is my favorite. Plus, as a professional editor, this is so well put together with the interplay between different scenes. Putting the phone call rings between the dialogue lines in the laboratory conversation was really inspired. So many great little touches. Well done.

The closest of romance we get in this show, in a very Sherlockish way ❤️ I think we needed more, they deserved better, that's why I got a little bit disappointed, but I understand, that's Sherlock after all, and he supposedly "doesn't have emotions" lol 🙄 But I'm happy Sherlock finally realised he in fact truly loved Molly 😍❤️

I think of all the people who Sherlock has in his life Molly is the closest person he can love. I honestly believe he loves her wether it’s romantic or Friendship. Even then friendship can develop into something deeper in the future. I know in the future something like this will happen plus I really think he does love her and it’s definitely been hinted at throughout the show. Thanks for putting all of those hints into the video

Oh my goodness,....this made me cry so much! It is so perfectly put together and I love and adore Sherlock and Molly. She knows and sees who he really is and he needs that. I understand Molly's pain of having a love not somewhat not returned but I believe that deep down, Sherlock loves her. This is such a great video you've made. I am a recent Sherlock fan and why I waited so long to watch this wonderful series is beyond me. Wishing and hoping for a 5th season.

I didn't know how you did it. But seriously. It's a true MASTERPIECE! It's like a poem from the beginning to the end. The music, the editing... I can't say how many times I've rewatched it yet. And i will. It's a true gem, and takes your breath away and never gives it away. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us. Some people say, that ILY was forced and he has always thought about Molly only as a friend. Yes, I do think there is a chemistry between them. And I am certain sure, Sherlock loves her romantically.

What gets me is the incredulous micro-expression of joy, just for the slightest fraction of a second, that appears when he realizes Molly STILL loves him! Its possible he thought after the drugs and Tom that Molly didnt love him anymore? So just for that moment he's joyous, and then it gets wiped away realizing the gravity of it all? and as he steps towards the screen, there's a protective hypnotic possessiveness to that advance.. its PERSonal at that moment, more than Ive ever seen in Sherlock. Perhaps Im reading stuff in, but there's emotional micro-nuances so many that its impossible not to lose count, we all do in spite of how well we know Sherlock. I love Sherlolly so much, and this video in particular make me cry! Just watch Sherlock at the end, that brain processing at lightning speed, the Truth of the words Eurus had forced on him! He understood the words were True when he spoke them the 2nd time, no doubt in my mind about that!

This video literally made me cry I feel so bad for Molly and that scene was just heartbreaking cause even Sherlock knew what he was begging her to say will break her but it was also necessary to save her life

The one and only fan video I was literally crying while watching it. I just can describe how I appreciate your work. I would like someone who read my comment to pay attention on John and Mycroft while Sherlock trying to convince Molly. They say everything. More than Molly and Sherlock possibly could say to each other.
