We spent alot of time riding and seeing the scenes and the monuments. Next time I go back I will spend More time doing Rally stuff, enjoying the nightlife and Downtown Sturgis....

@@dabeard_ I've been to Sturgis several times, and we usually spent more time riding enjoying the roads and the different sites, but we usually spent every night at the ralley just for the good time LoL 😂,👍🏼💯

We have been to 8 Sturgis Rallies starting in 2010. 2020 was BY FAR the lowest apparent attendance of any of the years we've attended except for MAYBE 2014. It was apparent downtown, it was apparent at the campground we stayed in and it was apparent based on the lack of traffic at every 'headliner' ride we were rode. The only place it was NOT apparent was in the merchandise sales and sales tax collected (which will skew the attendance algorithm.) There were MANY more first time rally goers at Sturgis 2020 and as such, many of those first time attendees were spending LOTS of money on souvenirs, t-shirts, Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles/trappings, etc.

@@BaggersandBrews Congratulations on being part of the Sturgis family!!! It will get in your blood and you'll always want to come back. Your collective impression of the crowd is awesome, especially Burt's comment at the outset, next time you come, it will be bigger! :-) (it's hard to imagine!!!) There are a LOT of people that put off a trip to the 80th until 2021, I look for next year to be a BIG one for sure! Thanks for posting the video, awesome stuff!!!
