Stuttgart (2024) is the capital city of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It is an old city as the first traces of human settlement were from the 7th Millennium BC and the Romans founded a huge castle in the area after conquering the region of Baden-Wurttemberg in 83 AD. As the largest city of Baden-Wurttemberg, Stuttgart has a population of 650,000 and 5.3 million in its metropolitan area. The fourth most populous area of Germany.
