I own nothing! All music by John Barry. Music owned by respective copyright holders. Music comes from the 2003 "The Living Daylights" soundtrack, here is a link to purchase the full album, if you are interested - www.amazon.com/Living-Dayligh...
One of my favorite Bond scores from one of my favorite Bond movies. I think this is one of my best edits honestly, but all the tracks flow really well naturally, so it wasn't too hard to put together.
If you would be interested in listening to more James Bond music, here is a link to a playlist featuring all my James Bond music mixes, which includes mixes for every single film - • James Bond Music

Really wish Dalton had gotten to take over the role a few movies earlier. He really is the 80's Bond. Moore was perfect for the 70s but he was a little out his depth in the Regan era.

@@STWproductionz We kind of got that in the Living Daylights. When he was suspended mid-air. Tye villain thought Daltom was too soft. The K.G.N. agent razzed Dalton fir having to make a lot of retakes. Tye scene where they fly into a mountain, nearly. Was a dramatic scene I liked. Daltom have a good performance. Believable I think.

From 20 seconds in is Bond chasing the assassin in Gibraltar. 2:34 is the car chase in the snow. 6:06 Is this Necros's attack on the safe house and his retrieval of Koskov? 8:10 I can't place this exactly from the film. 8:52 is Bond and Necros' fight on the plane/cargo rig. 11:31 is Kara's drive towards and then boarding of the Russian cargo plane. 13:27 is Bond and Kara escaping the doomed plane in the jeep. 13:58 Is this Bond chasing after the balloons behind the hedge (after Necros has killed Saunders)?

This movie was written with Roger Moore in mind. Goldeneye was written with Dalton in mind. Honestly neither film suited either actor very well. It was probably the right time to segue to the next guy.
@STWproductionz
@STWproductionz 3 жыл бұрын
Are you sure about Living Daylights being written for Moore? It seemed pretty apparent that View to a Kill was supposed to be his last one. Brosnan was supposed to take over the role after Moore originally, but his contract for Remington Steele was renewed on the last day so he couldn't and Dalton was brought in.
@christopherfoote4643

@@STWproductionz I thought I read that it was written for Moore. It should be fairly easy to tell if it wasn't. The lines and method of delivery ought to all synch with Moore's portrayal of Bond. John Glen being the primary director seems at least evidence it might be. Yeah I know people wanted Remington Steele. Pierce Brosnan's wife was in the movie For Your Eyes Only. She's the lady that gets killed. Maybe that was Glen voicing his objections, who can tell? These people are quite intelligent. The opening scene in the Living Daylights was supposed to be all the Bond actors who Dalton defeated. I think the villain (assassin) was supposed to be Sam Neill. The guy Dalton takes down over Gibraltar.

@@STWproductionz I love James Bond movies. The producers wanted Dalton. I believe the screenplay was written with Roger Moore playing the part. I doubt it was written with Pierce Brosnan in mind. The producers never wanted Brosnan. This is a little like Back to the Future. Michael J. Fox was always the first choice. Those responsible for the screenplay like used Roger Moore as the inspiration. Sam Neill also was one in contention. That's why Bond (Dalton) symbolically dismissed him. It was written into the script.
@STWproductionz

@@christopherfoote4643 I know they wanted Dalton back in 69 for Majesty's but he declined, either way, I love Daylights and I would say Dalton is the best bond, so it worked out. Sam Niell was terrible in those screen tests though, thank god he didn't get the role, that was bad.
@christopherfoote4643
@christopherfoote4643 3 жыл бұрын
@@STWproductionz I think he would have been in board if Dalton wasn't agreeable to taking it on. James Brolin was also being seriously taken into consideration. We can get an idea what he might be like by watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure. But it was between Dalton and Sam Neill. Sam Neill actually was first choice. F. W.I. W. He was in Jurassic Park.

The young Bond story continues M, seating at his desk, pushing buttons to get Money Penny's office. Money Penny', have you heard anything from Bond lately says M. No sir, not since he went to Florida USA ,on the billionaire space rockets, mission you put him on says Money Penny'. Well keep me informed money penny says M, and goes back to his paperwork. Min while in Florida USA, night time, with the wind chill blowing as Bond drives thru the streets towards a hotel. Bond reached the hotel and went up to his room, after passing people in the lobby and the hallway. Just as Bond closed the door behind him, and the lights were out,a hard fist slammed Bond hard across bonds face. Doing this pissed off Bond as Bond swung at the Man he didn't see as he enters the room.. Bond put himself in the light of the room, where he could see the asanlend. And Bond hit the man hard with a punch and two, until he could see the man hammering on Bond hard Bond Hit the Man hard enough to go through the glass window and on to the balcony. The wind blew harder faster on the balcony, the man who attacked Bond, swiftly took out a gun from his jacket and began firing at Bond, but every shot missed Bond. Bond chopped the man between the neck, and the man fell down to the floor of the balcony. Bond pulled out his own Gun to kill and stop the Man, but the Man leaped over the balcony,feet first, and as the man fell down ward the man pushed a few buttons and a tiny rocket pack started up and the man flew away,fast. Leaving behind Bond on the balcony and the hotel.
