I’m growing out a pixie back into a bob. I think I look younger with slightly longer hair, and my daughter agrees with me. Next Friday I am getting my hair done and since I got a new job that pays a LOT more than my old job, I’m also going back to having my hair colored at the salon. I get to work from home after my morning hair appointment, too.

It’s a beautiful cut and style for the shape of your face. For me, that’s too much work and time spent on my hair. I prefer a wash and wear pixie style. Thanks for sharing !

I’m trying to grow out my hair into a bob shape and hope I can live thru it! My (now former) hairdresser really over layered my hair back in August and it’s been a struggle. I also would love the link to your sweater!

Hi Kimberly, 🌼 I want to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your hair with a middle part much better than on the side. My hair is about your colour & length with a fringe (bangs to you), & looks lovely when I step out of my hairdressers BUT, I really need to learn how to style it properly. I love this tool and use it a couple times a month. There’s a low setting on mine and I use it when my hair is almost air dried. The tool is wonderful for getting all the kinkiness out of my hair. I use 2 heat protectant sprays before I use it and haven’t had any problems with it on my longish silver hair. I wish I had it when I had short hair and had to wash and style it every day. It would have saved me tons of time in the morning. I think everything in moderation is a good call for those of us who have more fragile hair. I also have an Amika hot flat brush which is awesome and I can actually control the temperature.

After seeing your last video I bought the Revlon one step, tried it today, but will take time to get used to it. I love my Dyson Airwrap and Corale but this will give different results.

I am surprised that the brush isn’t too big to curl that short of hair! Love it I don’t have either tool or even hairspray, I am a loss at hairstyling but oh I want to. Question.. if I just wanted it with volume and not the flip would I just need the hairdryer brush?

I was one of the hair styling requesters, so THANK YOU!! Tw questions, does the Revlon dryer pull real hard? Not only do I have an ultra sensitive scalp, but I'm losing my hair so badly. 2nd question: Do you use a setting product other than the spray? My curls fall out, oh, 2 hours or so later. I have a similar Revlon (my barel is plastic instead of metal....probably a cheaper version) and it does not pull. Also, I use Aquage (it's a root mouse) in my wet hair and it helps hold the shape. Because my hair is fine like Kimberly's, I do still have to backcomb my roots, but my curls stay in...sometimes for days with touch-ups as needed depending on how much I toss and turn while sleeping. 😂 Kimberly might add more but I hoped this would help answer your question.

I agree ! It’s a great tool (revlon styler)…but my hairdresser told me NOT to use it! Throw it out and get a more expensive one that has different temps! I was burning my hair terribly! Just so you know! I’ve always had a ton of hair, but my hair dresser noticed when I was using that, I started losing my hair! It sure works though!

I watched a hairdresser on KZfaq address this. He said only use the styler until your hair is dry. And then stop. When the hair is wet, damage won’t occur. The moisture keeps the hair from burning. The burning happens when we keep running the styler through the hair after it’s dry. I’ve been using the updated method for several months now and I can’t believe the difference in the health of my hair!

I use the Revlon volumizer, I love it. I use a heat protector and I don't use the highest temp! I think sometimes they tell you so they can sell you something. I always tell them I use good products to miss the sales pitch!

Hi Diana, if your hair does not hold a curl very good, you will always get a better result if you style it the day or two after washing it. Take care

I love this and wish I could do it. I have white hair and if using a flat iron I need it hot enough to work slowly through my hair but, then I run the risk of yellowing my hair. If I turn the temp down, it does nothing. I’m stuck with using Velcro rollers to get my hair to do anything.

You and your UK friend, Middle Aged Minx, started out with the same style but then went in two different directions. She parts her hair in the middle and it's a stick straight, flat, blunt, chin length bob. I wonder how she'd look with your current style. I also wonder how you would look with her bob.
