Diana - while you may appreciate people correcting your pronunciation of "beige" - please know that most of us aren't interested in correcting you. We're impressed at your English language skills. I know many Europeans are multi-lingual. Sadly, a large percentage of Americans (including me!) cannot speak another language. You speak English quite elegantly, conveying your style tips and advice with the same ease and grace that you demonstrate in fashion. And I love Ellena; it's wonderful to see two stylish women with such different approaches who compliment (rather than criticize) one another.

I totally agree: the language "police" are jealous B's in disguise. Comment sections on fashion videos is full of them. I want to tell them to go & make a video themselves before educating the rest of us

I’m also 70 and absolutely loving you and Ellena for all you are teaching us. I do have a dilemma. My style is to layer and so cooler weather is my favourite time to dress. The summers here are hot and humid and often it’s also challenging to know what to bring when I’m traveling across different climates. If you ever feel like touching on this topic, I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only person who would be grateful. Thank you in advance.

Great video & tips. The pastel outfits look beautiful on you... I also follow Ellena & between you I can adapt some of my style ideas to elevate. I was always a "bright & flamboyant" dresser but now at 68 am veering between that & more muted. I also embrace a bit of "hippy" chic (my teens were in the 70s 😂) which allows for some relaxed & "off" looks rather I also like. I like to be free & personal in my style. My slimmer young body is a bit thicker now so tucking in at waist often adds too much bulk - not sure how to deal with that! Keep up the lovely work. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪

Hello I like what you are wearing in the video. Is it a dress. could I have the reference please. Also when I see you pullovers I am pretty sure they will end up coming undone once you are on the move. Do you not tie them tighter ? but just keep them loose for the video?

I left all the links of what I am wearing in the infobox. I never actually make any special knot to keep my sweater. What’s really important is the quality of knitwear- the best are ribbed sweaters or mid weight wool or cashmere. Nothing too light or too heavy.

High waisted pants make "less than" behinds look terrible. What then?

I have one of those behinds. A pancake. You can either: 1. Do what I do: which is to sometimes wear things which are not 'flattering' for you, because you get to wear whatever clothes you want and you don't owe the world and particular body or outfit. It's not a crime to have a flat bum. The opinion of people who like, love, or respect you will not change because your bottom doesn't look its best in a certain kind of trouser, and the opinion of strangers in the street doesn't count. Or... 2) if you can't manage the above, wear it with a longline blazer/jacket and don't take it off. (Of course, your third option is just not to wear them if your derrière is that much of an issue.)
