Love the solids and low key Ideas: other ideas how to turn go to fall piece styles into spring summer. Plain no print fabrics relax me. Took a LONG time to figure out patterns rarely feel chic. Long sleeve super thin v neck t shirts cover my arms, layer, and feel cozy...need to find more blues and settle on it. Dealing with pants, skirts is tricky until I get weight off. Simple jeans. I have to wear deep heal arch support shoes now. Very hard to find statement shoes. I need to fing the "When did I turn 50" version of this. Like your ideas a lot!

I am with you on the one and done. For me in the summer, it's a breezy, midi length cotton dress (add sandals, and I'm out the door). I am also with you on cotton - everything I wear in the summer is either all cotton or all linen. I live in southern Nevada where the summer temperature reaches 120 some days. Loose cotton or linen is the only way to go.

I almost always wear a simple, casual natural fiber (+viscose) dress when it’s hot. If I absolutely must wear trousers for some reason, like walking through a brushy area, I wear linen, usually H&M linen joggers, love them.

Hello Emily, This video about hot weather is almost awkward considering how cold it is in Paris these days! My tip to look chic in hot weather is coton white shirts or blouses. Because it's hard to look chic in wet and creased clothes, and white shirts don't show the sweat under your arms, along your back or on your chest! I wear them even when I'm travelling, that's easy, confortable and chic.

Great looks but I feel best in dresses. Although I did buy a pair of mens levis that fit great. Thank you for sharing great ideals and fashion inspiration. It has helped build a wardrobe I love and get rid of things I don't use. 🙂 I'm not into to the onesies because if you gotta pee you gotta get undressed. Your hat and glasses look amazing

There’s hot, then there’s mid to southeastern U. S. hot. Even people from hot climates comment on the heat. It’s the humidity and mosquitos that makes it uncomfortable. Wearing clothes that are close to your body isn’t the best idea. I wear linen joggers or wide leg linen pants with a white or black tee. This year I’m looking to purchase a linen wrap dress for out and about.

I'm just like you: when it's really hot, I can't stand anything to touch my skin! So I prefer lose clothes that allow air between them and me. Flowy cotton or linen items for sure!

warm weather is different than hot weather, when the temperature rises into the triple digits, the last things I want to wear. are tight clothes and heavy clothes with lots of belts and jewelry. Triple digit weather is common here

Hi! I know that you are not into dresses. However, could you consider doing a segment on summer dresses? They are loose and the coolest weight of any clothes that one can wear in hot weather. Cotton knit is my go to. I have an edgy, minimalist style, however, I am in my 60s. My body type is exactly like yours. Super short with bike shorts won't do it for me. 😄

I noticed that your dress and jumpsuits are both black. As someone who lives in nyc I thought that no one else wears black in the summer. I know that’s not everyone thing. Are you still comfortable in black? I find that I just walk in the shade. Thanks for these tips. I can’t wear anything on my neck but yes to statement earrings .

I never have problems with black, I'll even wear black jeans :-I I find as long as it's not thick material and is light and breathable, it doesn't effect me one way or another.

Great style tips. I live all but two of your outfits. The Moussy vintage jeans make your legs look really short giving you the look of a dwarf and the button up worn closed over the top of the bike shorts instead of open with a cami over the bike shorts looks sloppy to me. Sorry. I just think that whatever style appeals to a person should be worn in such a way to make one look ones best and I don’t think those two do.
