I appreciate your choice of outfits! Jean-Michel Basquiat was a renowned Black artist who was known for his contributions to modern art. He was famous for his graffiti art, which was commonly seen in New York City during the 1980s. Basquiat was born on December 22, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York, just like me! In 1982, Basquiat created a painting called "Untitled," which depicts a skull. This artwork is considered one of the most expensive paintings ever sold, having been auctioned off for $110.5 million in May 2017 at Sotheby's. Basquiat's work was groundbreaking as it broke through the barriers of traditional art forms and explored themes related to identity, race, and politics. His work was emblematic of the punk, graffiti, and counter-cultural practices that were prevalent in the early 1980s. Jay-Z, who is also from Brooklyn, is a big fan of Basquiat's work. He even spent a considerable amount of money on one of Basquiat's masterpieces called "Mecca." It is essential to appreciate young Black artists, especially during Black History Month. I noticed that you were wearing one of Basquiat's artworks on your back, which is an admirable way to show support for Black artists.

Graphic tees are the way to go when you on your casual, just going to the mall,running errands , but still want to look good but don’t feel like doing too much. Last year I bought a lot of them and they definitely came in handy for those days. Thank you for showing how to dress them up and down. Love the sleek bob Ebony.
