@@MariaGonzalez-dj3wd we did not go to the Kentucky Derby, we went to a local Derby affair that’s given annually in St. Louis. Everyone dresses in Derby fashions and they show a couple of the races and there’s good & music.

You looked amazing in all garments however favourites were: The white and black dress combo with the Derby Amazon chapeau (for a warm day) and the striped blazer 'n pants with hat chosen (for cooler weather). Also did smile to myself when you mentioned, what your husband is wearing relates to your choice as have done the same for fifty-three years of marriage for only special occasions that is. Otherwise I do allow him to wear his blue jeans .... 😉. Have fun!

I am so glad to hear I'm not the only wife who feels like a couple should at least be coordinated when attending certain functions. I like cohesiveness when we step out as a couple. I even try to coordinate my church apparel to his (most times).

The pinstriped suit n white hat you wore first. The derby hat is nice but busy, needs a plain dress. A tip for folded jacket folders, put a rubber band n twill hold them up😊

Your new hat is very similar to one that I own and you looked beautiful and very elegant wearing it, like Audrey Hepburn. You looked amazing in every outfit, but I think my favorite is the striped suit with the Audrey Hepburn hat even though it is not as dramatic as the Amazon hat which is very striking and gorgeous. Hey, Hey Girlfriend, I really like the new Audrey Hepburn hat but maybe it's not quite Derby enough. Of course, half the ladies there won't be all Derby decked out. Hello Debra, Hudsons Bay Department store, also known as HBC, has beautiful bedding and linens and great sale prices in October and boxing week and January/June Sales. I don't know the cross border shipping costs but the exchange rate would work in your favour. I bought a beaughtufil Cotton knit cream pleated skirt in their Ralph Lauren Department, which also has great sales periodically. I cruise the Internet from time to time.

I used to all the time but after reaching 70 I’m finding that I don’t like how these arms are looking. It seems age has altered my skinny little arms of yesteryear 🤭 When the weather gets super hot out then I do wear sleeveless or strappy tops/dresses and carry a large scarf or summer sweater to cover when air conditioning is on.
