SU Dancing Dolls | 5th Quarter (Round 1) | HBCU Dance Affair Chicago (2019)

5 жыл бұрынThe HBCU Dance Affair features current and former members from some of the TOP majorette dance teams in the country: Southern University Dancing Dolls, Alcorn State University Golden Girls, Jackson State University J-Settes, Alabama State University Stingettes, Orchesis Dance Company of Grambling State University, Texas Southern University Motion of The Ocean, Prairie View A&M University Black Foxes, North Carolina A&T University Golden Delight, and Spelman/Morehouse College Mahogany-N-Motion. These dancers teach the younger/aspiring campers their respective styles and give them firsthand insight on what it takes to dance collegiately at their HBCUs.

Those of you coming on this video complaining and asking for new girls need to stop. We all love the dolls and the current team. But we just had a full season and many opportunities to watch them shine and to cheer them on. '15 is amazing, mature and a class act. They have been bashed by many of you on top of sacrificing their final year as a doll. The dolls were their family. It will not kill any of you for them to have their moment to shine. These few dance affairs are NOTHING compared to what they deserve. Let them have these moments to show their style and creativity, to be with their friends, to have fun. Once the season starts, we'll all be ready to support Gabby and the dolls, and be excited for an amazing season. It's crazy how so called fans can diss and disrespect an entire class. How you forget the dolls that helped pave the way?

I wish new squad had a chance to dance with some of these girls like Jaq, Maya, Alex, jordyn , Mel, and Tye they was the undefeated champs I wish they wasn’t so eager and anxious to do a way with the few of the girls and let the squads naturally transition instead of politicking the squad that way the vets could’ve held down the squads legacy and kickass counts and revamped energy that they could rubbed off on the new comers as they got a four year chance that way the squads could stay aged and advanced. As one or two leave one or two come in the rest of the vets develop the crabs the rest of the vest finish their four years crabs come in while multiple vets are on line and get seasoned really good by their idols and they become a product of their idols. But the dolls haven’t been giving these girls that opportunity they been robbing these girls from captain and tail spots cutting them getting rid of key and heavy hitters just to see new faces instead of flowing as they go. Some of these new girls come in hoping to be a part of a squad where KP or Connor is still on or Jaqueline Maya Alyx Mel Jordan Taylin etc is still on the squad just to dance with them and get seasoned by them. I would have never got rid of Jordan Alyx Maya Taylin and Mel they would’ve been on till their four years were complete. Suspended games and events would be in play if needed but I would’ve never got rid of my top dogs

As much as I love these 3, I would really LOVE to see the next generation of Dolls at HBCU Dance Affair. Taneria, Micah, Gabby, and Taylor 💕. They have gotten 3 turns now, I think that’s enough. Plus, I’ve been dying to see Taneria lead for yearssssss.

Selena Betts it was made a rule last year that girls that are currently on the team can’t do events like this. When Jordan did it with Kayla and Connor it wasn’t a rule. At one point Taneria and Jordan were on the lineup with Danielle Stamper but they had to drop out and Maya had to step in and do it with Dannie.
