Got to love the crowd at the Jsu Su games in Jackson in the 90's

I remember attending JSU's homecoming my senior year of high school and they played SU. Both their bands were playing at the same time. As powerful as both bands were and still are, I literally developed a headache from the shear power of both bands and I loved every minute of it.

This is when I use to love SU. This was when they were RAW and the energy was great.

As someone marching in with the boom that day, I have to say this was one of the greatest moments in the history of HBCU bands. This made the game so hype. I just wish SU would have stayed after the game for the fifth.

I wish I grew up to see this style of marching bruh bands had so much passion and discipline back then and the fan base was amazing packed games and shit why it can’t be like that anymore

I remember going to JSU's homecoming my senior year of high school. You could feel the rivalry between Jackson and Southern. It was the greatest experience of my life being at an HBCU game and halftime show. But as everyone knows halftime is game time at HBCU's.

This is when SU was the "SU NATION"!
