The overwhelming amount of enthusiasm from you guys makes me happy. LONG LIVE YS AND FALCOM!!!

The graphics are great, everyone. The only reason it looks so pixelated is because it's up scaled from a 5' OLED screen to fit your computer screen. Think about it.

One thing that the Ys series always gets right is the music. It's always very upbeat and gets the energy going during hectic battles. This trailer is a teaser of the amazing music this game will have to offer.

Adol's more badass than he's ever been before. You guys need to mellow out though. This hasn't even come out in Japan yet. Wait for them to get it before anything can be done to bring it here.

For all of those wondering, in Ys IV: Mask of the Sun, Adol decides to leave Esteria (After Ys II) to Celceta without telling anyone because he found a message in a bottle requesting a "hero to save Celceta". Dogi would reunite with Adol after IV for Felghana.

Almost all Ys games are action RPGs except for Ys Strategy and maybe a few others. Ys is the oldest surviving action RPG series, started back in 1987.

lol yesterday when I came here all the comments were japanese, now they're all in english. it's good so that we show falcom that we love this series, although im sure they can do nothing about it since they rely on other publishers overseas like xseed.

The good new is that xseed is most likely to localize this sonce they've localized the entire ys series. The bad news is that we don't know how long it will take them to localize this.

This remake takes place in a different time now. I think this is now Adol's first adventure.

Don't worry this will be localized by xseed. they've been known to localize other games of other games of this series

If it's a retelling of Ys IV, then it's before both games, actually. Adol went to Celceta before he went to Felghana. The Celceta events happen shortly after Ys I and II. Adol should be about 18. (He was 19 in Oath, and 23 in Ark.)

I have just discovered the YS serie on my vita, right now i'm playing ys chronicles and seriously the game is awesome i don't understand how i didn't played it uptill now... But i swear it, i will play every episode of ys, i have already bought the two ys on steam and ys seven, just bring it on this one too Xseed !

Localization does mean translation. You're localizing the game to a specific region which means translation and SOMETIMES editing of content, i.e certain themes that won't fly in some nations like skeleton enemies in China.

What the hell? XSEED has (from what I know) a really big YS fan (or all of them at XSEED) and particularly, an Ys IV fan. They have great localizations and translations. (They could use some help with what font to use though for the Ys games XD) Or maybe you're one of those who prefer everything (VOICES) in their original form? Does that explain your statement?

This kinda reminds of Ys Seven i may end up getting a Vita just for this game but im still waitnig for that Ragnorok game. The new character designs look pretty decent, But what confuses me is that which Ys IV is this based off? Dawn of Ys or Mask of the sun?

Localize? Like I'm gonna wait for that! I'll just order the Asian version like I did with P4G. It's fun to play it in Japanese rather than in English even though I don't know Kanjis except the most used ones in games. I have to regrets! Go Vita!!!!!!!!!!! The main theme, violin + rock guitar = Epic genre.

Actually Falcom still port their game to PC, ie legend of heroes ZnK and Ys Seven, although its Chinese.
