Suavito - Arturo Sandoval at Montreux Jazz Festival

Күн бұрынI believe the performance is 1995 or 1996. I recorded this on VHS from broadcast in either 1996 or 1997 and digitized it soon after. It's an incredible performance, and if you understand Spanish, Sandoval tells his story in the middle (when the chorus is "completo Camaguey"), ending with "I'll go back to Cuba when Fidel is gone".

incredible live performance!!! wow!!! awesome band! maestros all over the stage! I should note that no matter how great is arturo Sandoval, that sax player did it for me with that blazing long solo!

Sandoval not only plays trumpet, piano and timbales; in this video, he uses his tongue as a scat instrument. 😁

Me pregunto si todavía sigues llamando gusano al maestro Sandoval? Todavía después de tanto picadillo de tripa y comiendo la poca carne ( huesos) que te da la dictadura con gusanos de verdad, con estos apagones, sin gas para cocinar, sin transporte.....sin dignidad, en fin, creo que yo mismo me respondí, ustedes no tienen dignidad

Arturo es Arturo, pero la banda esta sobrada de talento también, que tiempos en que Cuba producia música, innumerables eran las agrupaciones que podian hacerlo y tocaban buenas música
