That "Oy, oy, oy, OYOYOYOY, OY AKINA!" was just chef's kiss. Really loved the fight. And the genuine kind of excitement from Mikoto at all kinds of fights is really lovely to watch. This story is already going great.

Megumi being called "The final boss" is one of the most hillarious moments of unintentional comedy I've ever seen

Megumi's lose streak goes on across different series. And it's a shame too because the Masques unit would've destroyed Lyrical's formation

This was such a good episode. We finally got to see Lyrical’s in action after so long, Megumi got some spotlight, and Mikoto has so far shown to be a pretty relatable character, being a model student everyone admires in public while also being a loveable dork in private. Can’t wait to see more of her next week.

About time we get to see some Lyrical showdown unlike Himari which didn't get an on-screen battle (only shows Tohya Ebata defeating her). Only few lyrical cards seen on Will-Dress was Yuika, Melty, and Kyouka, and that was when Himari was self-practicing.

It’s sadly funny how they keep finding ways for Megumi to lose yet I personally know that people are going to complain about Megumi being a jobber again which she has lately and I understand why people would feel upset about it. 😂🤣 I personally find Krysrain’s ability fascinating and while I know that some people are not going to be a fan of it because it is a bit cheap and dumb on one hand but at the same time, I personally like it because it feels very fitting for Mikoto. And secondly, I am starting to become a superfan of Lyrical Monsterio and Krysrain especially, the aesthetics of her artwork/illustration is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen personally, lol!!! 😂

Honestly was it really that hard to just have a Bermuda Triangle/Lyrical Monasterio users to be plot important in this series. (Then again I guess it is kind of hard to take Idol mermaids fighting against Dragons and Knights seriously) Spoilers! So this episode is more focused on telling us who Mikoto is as a person as well as for her reasoning for joining the fated clash, her being an idol means that her problems in life are clear cut, which is why she loves Vanguard online because she can feel like herself and not have to worry about her image as seen in the beginning of the episode as well as in her fight against Megumi (which is more poetic than you think), thus her reasoning for joining the fated clash is to become more courageous and more proud of who she is and overcome the fears that comes with being an idol, and having the title of "Ever-changing" which definitely fits her character. I was surprised when it's revealed that Mikoto and Hikari are online buddies who play Vanguard online, (and by doing so really gives me a strong implication that Hikari will become a prominent character later on) but then I was more surprised when Akina found out that Mikoto was in the fated clash just like that (though I do like how both of them are just cool with it), as well as using the Fated one card against Megumi. Now for the fight, well not surprising that Megumi lost this one because of Divinez skill but one thing really intrigued me, the episode fooled me for a second for believing Megumi is just using her regular Magnolia deck because of Lotte, at least until she rode her grade 1 and 2 that is, that is not the regular Charis and Lattice which can only mean one thing, a new Magnolia form, which I don't know why but the first thing that came to my mind is that the new Magnolia form is gonna be called Magnolia Gloria, which is a play to her own nickname at her school. Now I don't know if a new Magnolia form is guaranteed to become a reality but if it does it can mean one thing, At some point in this series Megumi is gonna use this new Magnolia against someone, or not we'll see. Now for Krysrain, from what I undestand from this episode Krysrain's first skill is most likely and ACT skill where by paying the cost she can activate the following abilities according to the number of units with different names, 1 = draw one and ECharge 3, 2 = gets Power +15000 and 3 = gets Crit +1, and; It's second skill, the Divinez skill is that it returns all your rear guards to your hand and calling one card from your hand to RC and it's Power and Crit becoming the same as Krysrain What do I think of Krysrain, honestly it's easy to fulfill the different name quota, but it's gonna be a bit hard to find proper synergy for this card because of it, you really gonna have different plays when playing this deck, which I guess makes sense since Krysrain's title is "Ever-changing", it's Divinez allows you to have an option to call out Trigger units or even PG's to RC since your returning them to your hand anyways and can be useful against retiring decks since your field at that point would only have one rear guard, and a 4th attacker copying Krysrains Power and Crit, this skill also makes sense for "Ever-changing" since it can refer to the unit being called to change. Now for Suo, so his reasoning for joining is because of fate, fate has chosen him, a person with no desires and wishes to the Fated clash and he's the Fated one of Zero... I predict the Divinez skill is gonna be either one or neither of the following: 1. Is like Stil Vampir from OG Vanguard but this time your guaranteed to become grade 0. 2. It zeros out your resources CB, Soul, Energy, etc. 3. Reduces Your vanguard to zero, Grade, Power, Crit. Next Episode is Taizo VS Mikoto, on one hand I feel like Mikoto will win because of the potential storytelling and character dynamic between Akina and Mikoto in their eventual clash, on the other hand I feel like Taizo will win probably because of the title of the next episode "The Guiding Star of Ever-changing" meaning probably throughout the fight Taizo will talk some sense into Mikoto, which makes sense now looking at it considering Taizo is a son of a CEO and probably feels the same pressure Mikoto does, but again we'll see.
