Hope Jaejoong can appear on Korean music shows, awards and university festivals etc.. He has the best vocal and stage presence in Kpop. Truly a full package.

Jaejoong has been really active this year. He performed at the Dream Concert in Japan and killed the stage with his vocals with Glamorous Sky, he also performed at Idol Radio Live and will be attending AAA in December with other very popular kpop idols

@@sinnad07 I know. I'm really proud of his breakthrough this year. Still these events are mostly overseas and not broadcasted on Korea TV. Seems to me the bar has not totally lifted yet. He was forced to disappear from public eyes in the past 14 years, he needs more publicity and recognition.
@iuw50927 ะฐะน ะฑาฑััะฝ
I wonder why he never invited to a rock music festival in Korea? Do rock music festival require good relationship with ex-agency? So far I don't think the scope of their artists reach rock festival. But I can understand about him not on university festival, they need famous idolgroup on university festival that's maybe why it's harder for him to be invited there. So very unfortunate because some singers last year was going viral trough their performances on festivals thus got their first all-kill in music chart in a decade.
@DragonZelda7 ะฐะน ะฑาฑััะฝ
โ@@iuw5092 I remember Jaejoong was on top of the "artists you wanna see on university festival" poll back in the day, maybe 2013 or 2014, before his enlistment. I don't remember exactly. He lost a lot of recognition and popularity because he was banned from industry for too long. It's truly unfortunate. Jaejoong has strong vocal and a big arena would bring out the best of him. He was invited to Japan football halftime show and totally killed it. I hope Korea could treat and love him like Japanese people.

โ@@iuw5092i think back then sm had a hand in everything, their control and reach was quite far and wide. Even rock music festivals might fear sm. Now with sm going downhill, maybe he might be allowed back on tv too
I can't believe that these two are actually in a show together!! Who would have thought that we would see this happen. Early generation kpop fans would know this feeling ๐ฅฐ

Now, they can show their friendship to public. 2nd gen, I mean.
DARA! I am from the US. I found kpop in 2010, and became addicted to 2NE1. I would drive hours to Houston, TX to obtain 2NE1 cds and merch. They were the reason I became interested in kpop. I even did a college presentation on the Hallyu wave around 2012. Iโm now 30. I was devastated by their disbandment. I wish she wasnโt so surprised by how popular kpop is now in 2023. It is thanks to groups like 2NE1 who paved way! Thank you. Forever Blackjack.
This is Dara's most relaxed & comfortable out of all her tv/youtube guestings. She was just herself answering questions & spending time with a real friend. I hope they do it again.
It's lovely to see how supportive Jaejoong is and how much he hypes Dara up. Also loved how they both said that all idols are friends behind the scenes despite all the fandom shenanigans. Hehe. This was very comforting to watch, just two good friends talking about random 2nd gen stuff. Would've loved to see you two together in that movie! But now, am even more looking forward to that future song collab, guys!!! ๐๐
27:47 Jaejoong oppa knew Dara very well, theyโre really a true friends. Both comfortable talking with each other, no awkwardness can be seen. Haist, theyโre perfect for each otherโฆhahaha.
10:50 Dara: " the first 2 generation of Idols had to go through a lot" SO TRUE! But there is a famous idol somewhere out there shamelessly claiming they PAVED THE WAY shame on her!
@Damonistique7 ะฐะน ะฑาฑััะฝ
The idols don't claim anything about paving the way. It's always the fans.

Who is it?
@rivertothemoon16 ะบาฏะฝ ะฑาฑััะฝ
because they did. when we say they paved the way, we don't mean that 2nd and first gen mean nothing nor that they were the reason behind 2nd and first gen's success. kpop wouldn't be such a large worldwide phenomenon globally, inviting artists for shows such as billboard, amas and grammys if not for bts and that's a fact. i know 2nd and 1st gen have also promoted abroad but they weren't able to reach the level of height and success that bts have and again, that's a fact. people seem to forget that those boys have also worked their ass off to get where they are now, they were not born with a golden spoon, they were literally the underdogs. idols themselves have acknowledged it and yet you fans keep trying to deny it. we're not saying bts raised your favs, but they did open the doors wide and created the pathway and breakthrough of kpop into the global market for others to follow. hope that helps. dara says it herself 17:30
