Enjoy this mix by MEFJUS for the first episode of Sub Movement TV. Based in southern Austria, we record live sets of artists booked for our nights. This videocast was recorded a few months ago, when Mefjus introduced his "Contemporary EP" for Critical Music, and played some of his favourite sound.
He's also explaining what's with "Der Finger is oben!" in this video, and talked a bit with us about how he started making music and what it means to him in our interview:

he might have pre-pitched his tracks beforehand to save some time during mixing

he recorded all the the tunes to the same bpm so he wouldnt have to bother mixing, he should just use traktor sync button or get the laptop to mix for him..very lazy if the dj isnt doing anything with loops/live edits/ effects e.t.c.

I know that songs are produced at different tempos, so in order to mix the tracks, one would have to adjust the pitch slider in order to match the tempos. It was more of a rhetorical question anyways just to point out that the DJ is cheating.

Peter Henry hes not cheating... there is no such thing as cheating either u have an ear for mixing or you dont simple and as for beatmatching im pretty sure mefjus is using the sync button here but so what ??? i know 100% mefjus can beatmatch by ear it without the aid of the sunc button but it makes no difference.... the mix is still engineered by him his tune selection is still his etc etc some of you guys need a bloody good slap lol :)
