She invited them over for dinner at her mothers house, this proved to be a mistake, as her mother was making spaghetti and garlic bread. This garlic bread was so astronomically good to stacy's friend that she began to only come over for the garlic bread. I choose to believe this, the Annapantsu song, and the original are all canon and in sequential order. First Stacvy's boyfriend flirts with her mom. Then her best friend flirts with her dad. The bisexuality is strong with this one... (I'm a bisexual man and I loved that Stacy's Mom as a teen that thought he was straight. So this means a lot to me.) Also I'm just remembering how casual homophobia was when the original was popular. Makes me really happy with our society's progress. Still a lot to go

watched this when it dropped, laughed, cried, yelled, then watched it 6 times more, focusing on different band member each time cause each one has a separate thing going on. after listening to this back to back with the original, there's one thing to say that I haven't seen yet: unsung hero: audio engineer/mixer artist. Fucking helluva job. Bravo. inter-instrument balancing is on-point. Only thing I noticed different is the emphasis on the hit intensity and volume of bass-level frequencies in the original in comparison to this one.
