That'd be a serious challenge because you'd have to put the radiator outside of the vacuum chamber. No air means no way to remove heat from the system.

@@oldmanuserphan It's possible but I'm not sure I see the point? Especially given the level of effort required. Not only do you need tubing runs that are rigid, go through the seal on the vacuum chamber, and are fit together snugly enough to not leak in a vacuum (which would be equivalent to having your loop highly pressurized), you'd also have to be sure the capacitors on the motherboard wouldn't explode.

with such power requirements you shouldnt even be thinking of using it unplugged, laptops tend to get good battery with intel igpu but when dgpu comes around battery goes down to 5 times shorter. so like max 2 hour- 1 h and a half

This seems out of place by comparison to engineers. But I keep a Ti-84 with me ever since I learned how awesome they were in high school. Now I use them for game related math. Most recently, I've been using it a lot in Factorio. Or sometimes I use the graphing/table functions to see how my damage is gonna scale in an RPG. Things like that. And if I ever need to do some more serious math, I've got the tool to do it.

I'm working as a civil engineer right now, and i also prefer to use my own TI-82 instead of phone or computer calculator. I think that the fact that it's litterally design for it make it better, especially when doing some complicated calculations

Why do native English speakers use "quarter"? Honest question, it sound's odd for a Latin derived speaker, we would just say "250 thousand".

I tried bringing this exact same cooling setup onto the plane with me as carry on but they wouldn't let me bring on the 3 jugs of RainX. I tried compensating with in-flight alcohol but that got expensive in a hurry and it really tasted terrible after a few hours sitting in the cooler.

I have to say that these kind of colabs are just plain awesome. It shows that even though they are tech channels they not only are completely capable of co-exist but also help each other. Having in video advert is a win win win situation for everyone, the creator get the dough for the advert, the company gets their product advertised and the viewer just hits the right arrow key 3 or 4 times to skip passed the advert and everyone is happy.

Damn, props to linus, I don't think I could make that and I'm 22, I should make it a project of mine to make something like that, or atleast to have the electrical engineering and thermo dynamics understanding to map it out, could take me 3-4 days to learn then sketch out and get it verified that it would indeed work but I think I'd be very satisfied with that. 10:16 OK that's a clever solution its like when you first show someone they can close the loop to turn on a pc with anything that conducts electricity e.g. a pencil or something its just inventive and shows understanding, smart.
