Reminds me of the first hologra I ever saw (which appears to be gone now). It was how Aki’s thighs started flooding the entire office with poison so deadly it dissolved everything (including A-chan). It was Miko’s compassion that stopped the poison.

A little bit of Hololive history explaining why pre-pandemic hologras and hololive in general were so unhinged: Besides the crazy hologras, back in the day there was hololive summer with howling bikini Mio (highly recommend watching for academic purposes), tanned Matsuri and ironically Akai Haato wasnt Haachama yet. The most yabai hologras and clips are probably from this time (Matsuri band-aid comes to mind). Vtubing was an booming but obscure niche, where the scene was still dominated by prerecorded videos of 3d models, while live2d was still taking off. In this context, KZfaq started cracking down on ASMR content. Most of holoblondes up to 3rd gen (Aki, Mel, Haato, Choco) and Noel got their *entire channels demonetized*. Hololive at this point was a small company, with no direct contact with youtube staff and almost no other source of income besides superchats (very little merch or sponsors). This lasted for almost 3 months and had profound effects: The girls privated almost all asmr, created sub channels and tried streamlabs (with the help of Kiryu Coco) Meanwhile hololive management, in order to avoid future incidents and protect the revenue of the talents, became more restrictive with sexual and yabai content. Only now that Hololive is a juggernaut, having massive sponsorships, IP contracts, merch, events, the restrictions from that time are starting to fall off, most noticeably, with the returns of more risque bikini designs in hololive summer

To add pre pandemic hologra or before the big purge where also pretty unhinged with parodies and references and even often blatantly had straight up 3dmodels of such products and things of other ips spread out everywhere in the episodes. Obviously why it's a no go nowaday with how big they are and how easy they could get in troubles with copyright and stuff.

Ah yes, the time when four members of the Holo blondes (Aki, Haato, Mel, Choco) were demonetized during YT's demonetization phase, because a bunch of kids were watching lewd age restricted stuff including ASMRs. Prior to the demonetization, Choco was actually in the top 5 of sub counts for Holo (#3, iirc behind Sora and Fubuki... been a while), but this killed her growth. The blondes didn't get their monetization back until after 4th gen debuted.

And KZfaq was doing no better back then to solve their age-restrictable content issue. Heck, at one point, their KZfaq embed player demo allowed you to play age-restricted videos from the platform without having to log in. It still pains me to this day that members like Aki had to pay the price, not just as a Rosetai. This should have been fixed a long time ago by KZfaq... (Also that bug has been fixed since then, or else I would not disclose it)
