Lamy was the one who pointed this out, but what makes Subaru's tsukkomi so good is that she's also never mean or offensive. She naturally retorts in a "soft" or self-effacing way that it doesn't ever hurt anyone - it's a talent in itself.

It took me 7 minutes to realize that Luna wasn't speaking in her "Baby Talk" voice. I just considered her natural speaking voice as another part of her range. From my perspective, no matter how she speaks, Luna is still Luna. Same goes for all the other VTubers, too, since I've seen some comments say "they put on a fake voice" when I personally don't see it that way.

@@Chuito12PR Like most of them, it's more an 'accent' than a 'voice', and mostly built upon exaggerating the natural unique qualities of her vocals.

@@Chuito12PR I kinda do. I'm aware of it myself, especially after experiencing these conversations. I work as a nurse, and my 'nurse voice', 'talking to friends voice' and 'talking to the waiter voice' are very different. Luna's 'character voice' in particular is clearly a very specific 'burikko' accent, with those long drawn out sounds, slurred syllables and lisp. She clearly plays this mostly for comedy, and, as demonstrated, drops it frequently.

subaru is one of the few almost 100% confirmed straight holomembers (as far as i know is the only one but some say there are more) once she said that she thought all the yuri teasing was just an act and she decided to just go with the flow but after a while she started to notice that most of the other holomembers were way too much into the yuri and may not be faking it after all thats why as much as i love the shubaluna ship i dont take it as seriously as other ships and just enjoy how subaru react to the advances of luna
