Instead of using the grille from my car because I commute daily and can’t leave my grill off for a few days I bought a replacement grille trim piece and I’m just going to make a second grille, hoping it works as well as the OEM one.

Just a heads-up on the replacement grille trim pieces. For whatever reason, most sites & catalogs show the 2018-20 Crosstrek trim piece (part number: 91123FL170) as fitting the 2021+ models; it does not fit. At a glance, they look similar, but there are two quick indicators on if you have the right trim piece. 1) The protruding tab / tooth on the left & right inside edge of the grille. On the 2021-22 model, the side tab is flat on the top and rounded on the bottom. The 2018-20 model has a tooth that is flat on the bottom and rounded on the top 2) The Lower corners on the 2018-20 have more of a sharp angle, whereas the 2021+ are much more rounded.

@@customcargrills hey thanks for the heads up, I did actually figure this out almost immediately after commenting and just ended up buying an OEM grill from Subaru. Something didn’t look right I’m glad I doubled checked

Can’t you just sell already made easy enough to just snap it in and call it a day ?

At the time of writing this reply, the reason we don't offer a pre-made grille for the 2021+ model is that the grille bezel that's needed for the mod is not available for sale through Subaru. It has been on backorder with no ETA for 2 years now, and there are currently no aftermarket versions available either. We do offer pre-made grilles with bezel for the 2018-20 model because the grille bezel is available. Once the 2021+ version's bezel becomes available then we will offer that as a pre-made option.
