@@setsunaitsme91 AFAIK Kobo is an example of someone who wasn't deep into stream culture when she debuted, but nonetheless is now ID's most popular talents. The main thing is that Hololive doesn't necessarily look for streamers, they look for *talent*. Obviously content creation experience is a big boost to your resume, but if you have talent you're confident in you still have a chance.

Jokes aside, introverts DO make friend. But mostly with other introverts. Introverts isn't really anti social. They... no. We (I'm also an introvert after all) are just find it hard to convey our thought. But once we find other introverts who have the same wave length, we can finally take out our hidden side. Just look at Aqua for example. Like I said, I'm an introvert. But I had quite a lot of friends back then in my school days, and 90% of them were introverts. So it just like I somehow created a group and safe haven for introverts for other students (mostly were from the same year as me) to gather around. When we were together, we could laugh and have fun together just like a group of extroverts. It just if we need to interact with extroverts, we would somehow lose more than half of our talking capability lol. My most interesting story, me and my other 4 introvert close friends were actually branded as the noisiest group in our field trip bus way back then in my school days. When even extroverts in our bus fell asleep due to the long journey, my group of five keep talking and laughing non stop for hours. Even the teacher said "You guys are good and silent kids in class. How come you all have this much energy to keep talking?". And all we could do was an ackward smile lol

In my experience there is 4 different types of Introverts and 2nd Gen best encapsulates this. There is the Anti-Social (Shion), Socially Anxious (Aqua), Independent (Choco), and Aloof/Free-Spirited (Ayame) Most of the time you'd get a mix of these four types, but Gen 2 is filled with quirky introverts. Subaru is technically an Ambivert (can be extroverted but likes their alone time) but to them she's an overwhelming Extrovert.

I think in general vtubers, thus hololive are filled with introverts... it's like it's designed for them. In Hololive the extroverts I can think of are only Subaru, Ollie, Kobo.... and that's it? I think that mostly happens because us introverts stuggle at initiating conversations or social interactions, but we still actually want to do those things, so having someone who'd essentially do that for us seems nice. And then we realize, with shock and horror, that social interactions in general is draining and that the struggle doesn't end with initiating the conversation. XD

Being introverted doesn't mean they never want to socialize so having an extroverted friend helps expands our circle of potential friends and acquaintances for when we want to socialize.......and for them to be there to possibly do the heavy lifting in social situations that we may find ourselves in or ones that they may drag us into
