kinda true, they tend to build on available plot of land as long as nobody is using it.

Tbf when JP first started most members didn't really have any idea what to do with minecraft so they just built whatever they wanted within the area. Pekora with traps, Haachama with her mega structures, Aqua with her redstone builds, and every one else with their pixel arts and designs. With JP starting MC relays you can kind of see them build something much more organized than the strange mishmash of things. This is fairly noticeable with Usaken relay: Pekoland and the Summerfes since both of those set a specific theme- amusement park and a JP summer festival. Its quite chaotically organized if you look at the server as a whole actually, but it is a wonder how a lot of viewers know the place (and even items!) are kept despite the ever growing expansions. I honestly think the EN server would get more chaotic as much more builds are made. The only complaint I have with the JP server is they always flatten the whole place just to make their builds unlike the EN server building the place with their given landscape (though Myth was also guilty of this 'flattening' in the past). I really hope EN is much more of a nature-y place despite JP building here and there.

I hate how flat the jp server is. I noticed Pekora flattening a lot of land and Botan asking if it was ok to flatten a mountain. I really hope they don't do the same thing to the EN server. I like how the EN server is full of different levels and built around the environment.

@@morningcoffeecat2271 True, it's always disheartening seeing the JP side flatten their area as they expand their builds. I kind of liked the gen 5 area since they just built their "apartment" on top of the mountain, especially with the flower field in front of it. And then suddenly Lamy flattened the area around it just so she could build her shop(s) below the apartment. Now the whole thing looks weird if you look at it from the sides- a huge wall of dirt and then suddenly a building... I do wonder what the ID server looks like now though.

@@nine3793 Yeah, the JPs seem to flatten the area instictively at this point. Would be nice to see some build set into the mountainside like Kronii's cave or some plateau farms.

it's a branch server, so basically yes.

It works kinda like a Nether portal, where you can bring your stuff in between servers. I might be wrong about this (I don’t play Minecraft either), but I believe now that the servers are merged they now work as “one” server on the menu screen.

It's a plugin for SpigotMC (also works with Bungee and Paper). For the longest time, the JP server has had this configuration where what we colloquially call a "resource server" - a separate Minecraft instance - runs parallel to the main game but is only accessible through that main game. The only attraction we usually see of it on streams, besides its distinct bedrock portal, is TTT and the End (where Miko solo'd the Dragon). EN was originally on its own server but is now just another "resource server" to the JP instance.

The portal could look like anything, the girls on JP server decided to build it that way.

Its pretty cool that they made it look like a Stargate. I assume that was Moonas idea?

The portal can look like anything and can be entered from different directions. EN has a well and JP has a classic portal. It's just a design choice nothing more.

You can connect worlds with server-side mods, you don't have to have only purple/black portals and only the Nether and the end

it is not a part of the official game, the game is modified so it automatically connects you to a different server and spawns you in a certain spot when you walk into a specific area
