I remember when I purchased the Forester on the used market quite a number of years ago, the first drive home I noticed the noise coming from the windows. It's something I disregarded for so long as the majority of my driving is in town or I have something alternatively to drive. The last few trips though, I told myself to get the cabin to quiet down and here we are.
As I read into the wind noise, I came to find that the noise was actually from the gussets holding the mirrors on. I was surprised. Many people try to crimp the original parts to try and make a better seal with some success. For the cost, I want to replace mine. They have been sitting around here for months and it was time to get them installed.
