Thanks for the review Chris. You can tell are lower RPMs there is not a huge noticeable difference but definitely at the odd and high RPMs, the Tomei have a refine sound. Happy you are going with this brand since people goes with Invida or Magnaflow; it is just something different. BTW, love the FR-S rebuild and it is amazing to see it evolve after 2 yrs since I have been subscribed. Stay safe bro.

Yeah I would hate to melt my diffuser like that, tomei is easily adjusted by rotating muffle and tightening clamp, Chris if I were you I’d raise it up just a tad bit that just me, love the car and vids man!

I just wish the Tomei looked better. If you don't properly install it, it'll hang like a cheap honda civic fartcan. Which is why I went with the Greddy RS single exit, and with the Greddy RS cat-back, you can actually swap out the tip, and Greddy sells tips. I got a Titanium turn down tip. Mine sounds more like your homies, deep and softer. I'm thinking about getting an RK Titanium mid pipe to right single exit, and hopefully I can find someone to weld a V-Band into a Vibrant Titanium muffler or if Greddy releases their new RS Ti muffler soon, I'll do that. I do like the raw raspy sound of titanium tbh

straight forward install. Don’t tighten the intake pipe too much to the turbo inlet pipe cause the stock turbo inlet is plastic. Can warp if too tight and cause a leak!

So just a quick question. Have you, Chris, or anyone else heard of the company BlackHorse racing? The reason I ask is because they have a catback, 3" dual exit quad tip stainless steel exhaust for about $670. It has comparisons to the invidia R400 as per sound and all that. It's tempting given the price and i really wanna get an aftermarket exhaust for my 2018 WRX limited.

Sometimes WRXs burn oil after going stage 2 from the turbo getting too much oil and people add a oil restrictor to solve this, Perrin makes a solution

damn the tomei sounds like shit in low rpms. extremely unrefined and tractor like. it also seems to have much worse ground clearance than the cheap one... this is a bad look for the tomei NGL, although the DNA melted the shit out of dudes bumper lmao
