Very cool video. I recently did my shocks and struts on my Prius, and when that bolt on your strut was giving you problems, it triggered my PTSD

Nice install. I'm gonna be doing this shortly. You should update us if / when you get an alignment . . Are you planning on doing adjustable lower control arms, toe arms, or the roll correction kit from whiteline?

Have you had any issues running the stock lower control arms in the rear? About to order a set of coilovers and I’ve seen some people say without adjustable rear LCAs they see uneven tire wear and too much camber in the rear?

I ran into the same problem with the fronts on my sti also. I ended up having to screw the bottom bolt out rather than using the mallet

Honestly in first bit I would of kept Jack there while you impacted it to reduce stress you might of cross threaded or shaved off some due to weight stress. Same with your wheels, at least wiggle them and go in spec form tightening sequence, I've seen people just throw there wheels up and use impact and then wheels come off because it shaved off a bunch of it on lugs. Sorry I just like to see you safe.

I just installed some coilovers last week I’m curious if you have any torque specs for top hats? I just tightened everything with a breaker bar.

just had my coilovers installed at the shop today. i noticed my ride height on the front right side of the car is a little higher than the left.....is it because its not settled yet? or do they have to be perfectly even? thanks

How did you fit a jackstand next to the floor jack like that? I can never get my jackstand to fit on the pinch weld when I jack up my 2020 sti

if you use an open hand wrench to guide the fastener out while your backing it out with the impact its a lot easier!
