I was more amused with how they made the lowkey sex joke into an overt sex joke in the NA version. Because in the NA version she doesn't makes ait into wordplay to hide her sex joke, instead she outright says the book is not a book at all but cake,and that it's incredibly tasty and enchanted with knowledge. AT least in the japanese version it's just a cookbook,though she calls it Baumkuchen (the german pastry).

This epic skit inspired me to write a poem...I love to stare at her bewitching waist, i'd love to caress her hips..as i gaze into her angel eyes and taste her honey sweet lips. I'd love to watch her do a strip tease, i know it would be so fine..as she gives off her sexy smirk while lifting 1 book at a time. And she has me so spellbound that i could be knocked over with a feather..and the only desire on my mind is getting to know her better. And i'm not sick in any way, not a headache toothache or flu..but i do have a fever...and the only prescription is more Magilou.

Well....isn't her books also her skirt? For me, it seems like an innuendo where Magilou is trying to get Laphicet to look under her "skirt". Of course, Laphicet just focus on the "books" and nothing else. Yeah, this one is pretty confusing.

English version somehow feels better for this skit I just prefer Harley Quin-ish Magilou and pure and innocent sounding Eleanor and cute Laphicet voice much more. And Phi's reaction was better in English "SO THAT'S WHAT BEHIND THE BOOK"

Phi's reaction in English kind of destroy the natural progression of the joke because it makes it seem like he liked the eye candy that Magilou was providing. The more contained reaction keeps it vague since we needed Eleanor to go on her tirade only to be deflated by Phi's very serious analysis of the book's restraints (and Magilou's subsequent serious answer to Phi's request).Also, The English version literally calls the book "layer cake", because they couldn't find any way of localizing the Baumkuchen joke.
