Notice he took off an aftermarket one. Yeah my rear is bending all my trim tools even after being heated for 5 min

how similar is the install for a 2019 wrx . really been looking at the molded inovations emblem .

just heat the emblem with a heat gun and use a pry tool to get under the emblem. as long as you heat it up enough, it should come off pretty easily.

The installation is very similar, although the front does not require the bumper to come off

I just watched a video of a guy taking the whole back trim piece off to swap the badges. Why are some people removing the trim piece on the trunk but your not having to? Im confused

Removing the trunk trim may require more steps, but less likely to damage the surrounding area. The trunk trim is rather soft. When you remove the trunk trim, there are 2 tabs on the back of the emblem that will allow you to push on them to start to lift the adhesive from the emblem. Neither way is wrong, its just whatever method you are comfortable with!

Are the tuning and modding possibilities the same for the spt Wrx as the manual? Or should I just get the manual?

is the sti portion of the grille removable? i see you don’t have it on the car

While the emblem may be able to be removed from the JDM option grilles, the grille was designed for the badge to sit in that area. This was our factory grille painted black in this video, with carbon Molded Innovations Winglets.

Got these and realized the front emblem does not fit the Noble Sport Grill. Description is confusing about this. What do you do with the trim piece that comes with the rear emblem?

We cannot comment on the fitment of the Noble Sport Grille as we've never used that grille or have experience with it. The Molded Innovations emblems fit all OEM fitment applications. Which trim piece are you talking about for the rear emblem? The rear emblem is very simple: Remove the factory emblem, and apply the Molded Innovations emblem in place.

Do you happen to know if 2018 WRX STI emblems will fit on a 2022? Bought some but not sure if they fit, don’t want to take off the front bumper for nothing

@@mxt7407 This is for ease of demonstration. The factory emblems are typically very well secured when you go to remove it! A heat gun is your friend! Once your factory emblem is removed, make sure to clean the surface so that your replacement emblem sticks just as well!
