Watch the video and 15 minutes later you will have a very worthwhile mod. The OEM armrest and the OEM extension are utterly useless. This extension works perfectly fine with the OEM extension. Now my right arm has a place to rest while driving and my elbow still rests on the armrest while shifting. Much better. The added space is welcome too. Well done Subispeed.

Easy stuff! Only hard part was getting the trim peice to pop off. Was in there nice and tight but with enough wiggling it popped off enough to remove the cable

Use a piece of thin and hard plastic to insert and apply a little leverage at the top of the plastic piece at 1:10 to get it off. Yanking on it from underneath is a great way to break it.

Fits good with 2018 sti only problem is the plastic is a bit lighter shade then it is on the car but nothing to noticeable.

Has anyone removed the portion of the center console that houses the rear cup holders from the 2017 WRX and installed on a 2018+ WRX? The decision to relocate the rear cup holders in the 2018+ WRX baffles me--they were perfectly fine where they were.

WORKS PERFECTLY! Install/functionality was just as describe/shown in the install video. SSpeed...you need to make install videos for ALL you products...for us new DIY auto guys...much more confident in purchasing/attacking simple upgrades.
