Sublimating and Heat Pressing onto Sublimation Aprons
In this video, I am going to show you how to design and heat press onto sublimation aprons.
I want to thank everyone for tuning in and watching this video. In this video, I used the HPN Signature Series Heat Press, Silhouette Cameo 4, Heat Transfer Vinyl, Scissors, Rule, and Heat Tape
When using vinyl it is always best to do a test cut to find out what works best for you. In my instance, I used the Cameo 4 for cutting the Heat Transfer Vinyl and used a blade 3, Force 10, and a speed of 10.
The Sublimation process is a bit different as you can expect. Make sure your image is flipped horizontally when printed, use paper to protect your heat plate bottom and top, use heat tape to keep your image stable, and press for 400F for 60 seconds.
Sublimation Heat Press Settings - 400F for 60 seconds and Medium Pressure
Heat Transfer Vinyl Cutting Settings - Blade 3, Force between 8-10, and speed between 8-10.
Heat Pressing Heat Transfer Vinyl Settings - 320F for 20 seconds and Medium Pressure

You explain things so well. Loved how the aprons came out. I will be purchasing the black aprons to try myself. Also, I bought an Epson f170 Sublimation printer late last year but it sat in the box for months. I saw your video on setup and followed it. It was so easy. Thank you for your detailed, easy to follow instructions. You are a great teacher. Keep up the good work!
