Hello Everyone,
Let's just talk about all things related to sublimation at one time. The concept of sublimation is a very trending topic in the craft world and there are always so many questions about how it works, what is needed, how to do it, what printer is "best", which paper is "best" and so many other hot topics.
Let's connect and talk about all of it and I will demonstrate the process of using dye sublimation. I will review the 7 essential materials that are needed for sublimation, I will show the printers that I have and we will talk about all things related to the sublimation process.
Hopefully, I will be able to dispel any myths you may have and answer any lingering questions you might have about sublimation.

I'm a bit late but Merry Christmas :) I loved this tutorial & I am def going to try it for this Christmas because I can never find any shirts for my size there all small/med/large & never any bigger but I will do one this yr 2024. Woohooo cannot wait 7-8m to go :) The Christmas shirt & the butterfly bag looked amazing :)

I bought my refills back in July - and I ordered the ones with the syringes!🙃 and they don’t expire until 2025. So it looks like I’ll be using these the first time I have to refill. Bummer - but I learned a lot from this video and I’ve been doing sublimation for months.

Hi Delonda! I'm rewatching from Cincinnati, Ohio. I did feel pressured when I first started making tshirts. I purchased 4 of each size up to a 5x polyester shirts for sublimation and have never tried making anything on them

De Londa I love your style of teaching! Can you please tell Me what I’m doing wrong when printing my tumbler png which measures 10” width and 9” tall. When I print it the black registration marks are on the bottom preventing me from trimming my design at the bottom. I make sure to click off the screen to remove the black box but can’t get the 90 degree corners not to print. So frustrating. Hope you can guide me. You are so honest and a great teacher!🩷🙏

Me too on the Epson Workforce. H to the No on that purchase. I wish I had known a year ago and now it a collector of the dust bunnies. Plus it was a hard lesson finding out about pizza rolls on the DTF film that transferred to the garment after sharing it on my social media and Lord have mercy the ugliness came out in folks.

@craftingwithdelonda thank you very much for this. This is exactly what I needed as I bought all of my equipment and supplies to start sublimating. I had a couple of questions. When you are creating the design how do you know what size to make it whether you create in Cricut Design Space or Canva? Then when you press how do you know what temps and times to use?

Glad it was helpful! In Cricut Design Space, I use the templates for sizing. Most fabric is 400 degrees for 60; with other items I use the recommendations from the package.

I purchased sublimation ink and loaded into my brand new echo tank 3850, I use the A-Sub 125G paper and the colors always come out dull. Can I combine the HIIPOO ink? Or do I have to completely exhaust all of the ink before changing ink?

You will have to either use all of that ink first or find a way to take that ink out. I have heard that people successfully took it out with syringes; but I haven't ever tried it.
