Always clean all surfaces with alcohol first then apply your epoxy if not the oils from your hand will cause it to lift and not to be on certain spots, and you can always put another light coat of epoxy on after about 2-3hours. Great job I love watching you.

I love it! The oil from your fingers is the reason why the vinyl is coming up. Also try letting the sealer dry for 24 hours then epoxy.

great job!! after I saw your video some months ago I decided that I would try it. made my first one last week. and now I have 6 orders. I will try the vinyl and laminated and epoxy. if you don't mind how much you recommend to sell these for. my tables and chair are used but in very good condition.

So would the epoxy crack if sat on... and can you use the other stuff that people put under the nail dryer

Awesome job... maybe try a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles before heat pressing it.

Would it have worked better if you sublimated to the laminate sheet and adhered to the vinyl at the same time? I do like this process though!

Not a Steelers fan but the chair came out shweeet.

I have some ideas to help you that I have experimented myself, first use a Teflon sheet on top of the laminate instead of butcher paper, and also you can sublimate straight onto the vinyl you don’t even need the laminate, if you don’t want to, but important to use Teflon cause it’s non stick

It looks good. But I think next time you have to let the vinyl cure for at least 24 hours. Then your vinyl shouldn’t roll up. The adhesive isn’t immediately permanent. It has to cure for 24 to 48 hours. Let us know if that works.

Next time use the sublimation vinyl.
