Actually there's a way to make a functional submarine. Credit goes to Matt lowne and I don't know if this still works but if you fill a service module with lots of small tanks full of fuel and go on water you will float. However if you close the doors it keeps its weight but removes the boyancy (faq I can't speel) so you would sink with tremendous weight and control your decent using multiple modules and closing and opening them. Hope this kinda helps but great vid man keep up the amazing work!

You can make a proper submarine with diving tanks, too! Cargo Bays always count the weight of stored stuff, but... 1. Their volume only counts for buoyancy while closed. You can make it sink while open. 2. Stored stuff only counts for buoyancy while open. Overlapping parts still count, so you can make it float while open. (which is better, since you want as little drag as possible while submerged) Thus you can use cargo bays filled with either full ore tanks or overlapping empty jet tanks to float or sink. I screwed around with this a few versions back, but never got around to perfecting it, sadly enough. (Edit: Written before reading the other comments...)

Ideas for absurd development and exploits: Ultra plane (jet exploit); Millenium falcon: hyperdrive uses the exploit, the repulsors (what lifts it off) use Docking Port Kraken drives (Zompi drive).

You can add full ore tanks as a balasts

You can use ore to make it precisely as dense as water, so it doesn't float up or sink. FREEDOM!!!!!! (Free doom for kerbals)

My favourite thing about this is the kerbal who just wanted to make Danny feel like he'd succeeded by cheering him on.

Try jets in multiple axies, your desing spun around because it had an axis that you couldn't control. Or you can offset the engines so they are further away from the center of mass, increasing rotational innertia from the engine thrust point. And please, use other wheels, I'm stressed more than these puny wheels are while watching them struggle

What if you had two engines locked to fire straight down while you still have the two that can swivel?

He is a very good builder the best I can do is a box with wheels on it and thats my best build
