How low must the water be for it to stop working? Like how much will it need for it to start pumping out. I have a flooding garage but it definitely doesn't go above about 50 milliliters

How does it work once the water source is gone? Does the unit keep running or go into some standby mode? Or will it keep running and hurt the motor since there's no more water to pump?

"Do not use without water for more than 2 minutes" I don't understand why they can't make these auto-shut off when water stops flowing for a reasonably priced unit. Thanks for the review.
