In this video we will learn how to submit an app to the iOS App Store (App Store Connect) with Xcode 13. Submitting your app to the app store allows others to download it after Apple has reviewed and approved it for sale. Submission / upload requires that you have an Apple Developer account.

Nice Video Afraz. One point I would like to clarify here. When I submitted my app for review for the first time, I wanted it to support starting iOS 14.5, but under General -> Deployment Info, I accidentally kept it iOS 15.4 as that was the newest version I wanted to support. Then when my app was approved I was reading the app store page where it had listed that my app supports minimum iOS version of 15.4. So the only question I wanted to ask is if I am uploading my app that supports iOS version for example14.5 and the current iOS is 15.7 suppose, then is there any setting I need to do before archiving that way both of my customers using 14.5 and 15.7 can use the app?

metadata explanation would be helpful as well all this privacy links, support links etc - I’ve created landing for that purpose but would be interesting to know how do you approach to this, thanks

11:50 you can actually add ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption to Info.plist so you won't have to confirm this compliance manually anymore.

Thank you Afraz, could you tell me what was that pop-up during your submission which was related to Encryption ? Was is related to Bundle files, Coding or what ? Because for example I have used an Encrypted sqlite file in my project. Does that asking for Encryption was related to this or not ?

Hey there, nice video. I was following this to release an update to my app, but by only increasing the build number, but I got this error: Version 2.00 is closed for new build submissions With error code STATE_ERROR.VALIDATION_ERROR.90186. Any idea how I can solve this?

There is a TestFlight specific option for external beta testers. It can typcially take 1-3 days for the review process.

Thank you, this is very helpful! I'm actually in the process of submitting my first app, but it's strictly an iphone app, so do I still have to include the iPad screenshots in the metadata page? You don't explain anything other than how to upload! It's just you jumping around the screen and reading what's on there. I already have no issues getting an app into test flight, and you've added zero to that.

The name of the video states it’s how to *submit* an app. There are other videos for the other steps so calm down
