Also the most important plant is that fruit tree. It provides the best balance between food and water. Make even one interior growbed with 4 trees and you will never want for food again. You can even put one on your cyclops.

Only issue with frute is you can not hold enough for a long explore or resources run water and cured fish are the best... But it's easy for bio reactors I put two plant with each one also they are great for keeping topped off with food and water

If you have a growbed on your cyclops I find that to not be a problem. Park the clops outside the cave, pound a bunch of fruit before you go in with your moth or glide. There isn't any cave large enough in the game where you can't make it back in time, IMO.

you can also throw a storage compartment on the moth for foods.

You can place diagonally, you just had a window in all of the places you were trying to place it

Slip you need to/ should grow the hanging fruits in the indoor grow beds because then you won't need to worry about food because the fruits give you lots of food and water.

Make a indoor growbed in your base or submarine and put 2 hanging fruit in it or more and you can plant your own hanging fruit😀

you should try to plant your hanging fruits, and you can do it in a pot in your cyclops. never run out of food :)

sl1pg8r you missed a pda in a cave on the floor and cyclops have been update to 1200 power but you have to rebuild it, and you can plant a things in the cyclops. Love your video's

I was sent for boarding school this year and your videos have helped me feel like im at home. I watched them at home and watching them here helped me lose my homesickness. Slip, for reginals and air sacks, you can use little aquariums. You can put several of them in one room but you can't go in it. Look in your habitat builder for inside stuff!

hey slip there is an awesome island to the left of the Aurora. it's not a floating island it's an actual island that sticks up out of the ocean. it has lots of resources and a hallow mountain

Slip, I mentioned with the last video, you can put wall lockers on either side of the stairs, but I also wanted to suggest putting a sign above the regular lockers to further label and organize your stuff n things!

Slip you couldn't place the corridor diagonally because of the glass window! If you remove the glass window then it will work

The heat knife has low durability, but, if you slash a fish while swimming you instantly cook it. It's more for food. The hardened knife has a lot of durability.

Magic island has no fall damage, amazing! Man all those seeds and stuff, you deffinitely should make more aquariums to grow all the stuff and things and have more fishie-doodlers! I wonder if the Subnautica peeps have a "suggestion box", because i would totally suggest to them to allow for diagonal building. I mean, the habitats are practically made for it!

I can't wait to see the new base! Although it is gonna be sad to not see the badass three story aquarium as soon as you walk in. I think it would look great though if you kept a lot of bio diversity in your aquariums. Maybe become a rare fish collector =P Also, if you want you could go down to the giant pink mushroom biome in the cave near your starting area and get some of those bad boys for your gardens. Also blood kelp would be sweet =P

Sl1p- - You can use smaller tanks for the fish you want.. the smaller fish tanks are like the size of a large storage chest..So instead of having a lot of center room tanks, to save room have one big tank for creature eggs & use the smaller tanks to put extra fish in.! =)

The new bioreactor is powered by anything organic. So you can take fish from your aquarium and use them for power

Hey Slip, you should rebuild the cyclops for the extra power they gave it. You can use the console and give yourself the stuff and things you need. We will forgive you :) Or maybe just a second one. Also, a little hint. You run out of food/water a lot while out and about. You have an indoor growbed, the cyclops is considered indoor, fruits are a good source of food and water. I'll shush now :)

I'm loving this series sooo much! And if you would like to at least try & find a Reefback egg, which are bright blue & have green tentacle-like growths, I know they are found in the Grassy Plateau (the area covered with the red grass - 50-170m). I don't know how rare they are, but I know you can find them there!

You don't need platforms for your multipurpose rooms they just waste resources; however, you do need them if you want to keep the solar panels beside the base but rather use the signal transmitter and set up solar arrays. Oh and you don't need to leave the base to build you can do it from the room your in. But still love watching all your videos. Thanks for making me laugh!

if you had continued to explore the cave under the mushroom tree biome you would have found a thermal vent. and if i remember right it also links to either the deep shroom caves or a deep cleft.

sl1p you should leave the middle room the aquarium and make it like the main lobby and then make it branch off to the other places like one tube goes to storage and another goes to power room, and another goes to your food and water and stuff like that and when you need more room just stack up the rooms vertically(just an idea)

Slip, put a multi-purpose room in the middle. Add 4 corridors on the 4 sides, then add the other corridors diagonally. All you have to do to get diagonal corridors is place and remove both multi-purpose rooms and corridors until it works. || ==O== || || // O == O // \\ O O O-Multipurpose == - Sideways tunnel // - Diagonal Tunnel (I don't know if this still works but it use to.)

If you didn't realize it yet, you can plant the hanging fruit to grow the hanging fruit tree. If you do you will have an infinite amount of food and water because they give you both.

At 6:27 you walk past a second PDA on the ground. It is at the mouth of the tunnel just past the lower base. Pretty sure there is a 3rd on the island somewhere as well but I can't remember. Also, there is a beach on the outer part of the island, you don't have to enter in through the middle pool (although it is fun).

Sl1p, if you use your heat blade to kill a fish it will cook it right on the spot. No need to catch them then cook them in the fabricator.

You have a thermoblade....use it :D If you hit a fish with it, it will kill and cook the fish at the same time.

Sl1p, if u have that tool that u used to make the farm for those teeth so, u can use that to break open places in cave so u could like park ur sea moth or cyclops
