That first crush depth warning you got at 900 meters was the Seamoth telling you that it would die if you undocked it.

Oh and Sl1p, when you pressed four, it meant that the sonar is able to be used, but you have to either left click or right click (I think, I'm not sure. It's the same process for the perimeter defense system & torpedo system) to actually use it

love the fact that on the old series there was that one 'derpy' leg on the moon pool that was deployed on its own, and this time it's the only one not doing so.

Yo Slip, a little trick for you regarding food and water for long range traveling in the Cyclops. Just place a plant pot anywhere in the Cyclops and plant a hanging fruit tree. Tree grows and give you a constant source of food and water. Also, it's essentially a mobile underwater greenhouse now!

What a great episode. Also kudos for naming her after Cap Janeway, my favorite captain. She's such a badass. Also was cool to hear you really get into the exploration aspect of the game. Something about how you get wrapped up in the experience really showed in your voice. Never give up, never surrender!

Slip, you should build two interior growbeds in Patrick and have the fruit trees in them... then you'd have food where ever you go!

i believe you can put multiple pressure compensator modules into the subs. i haven't tried it out for myself though.

Just a friendly FYI Slip for you and others watching. The reason you were getting that crush depth notification was because your berthed seamoth maxes out at 900. If you'll notice the voice gender changed. Incidentally, at least in my own testing, you'll actually have a damaged seamoth when you next take it out. But to be fair, you may of discovered that already taping for the next episode :)

You can get a "chelonian hull reinforcement" for the cyclops (found in bloodkelp wreck), then you can dive 3300 meters😃 (could be that the wrecn has nothing in it, its a bug)

If you explore the Jelly Shroom caves, apparently you can find crabsnake eggs inside of the jellyshrooms. I've never found any myself though.

Slip - Great episode! Please consider using your Cyclops external cameras. There are a total of three: one on the mast, the keel and the propeller which you can cycle through with your mouse wheel. These cams make moving the Cyclops in tight quarters much, much more manageable. To access the cams, just take hold of the helm and look slightly down and to the left. There's a blue cam icon. Click to activate. Keep up the great work!

Slip great episode. Glad that you finally build a new Cyclops. It's power lasts for a long time with the power efficiency module. You should use the cameras more it is fun to watch creatures while you pass by, or a Leviathan XD.

You should put fruit trees in Patrick so you wouldn't need to keep bringing water and food with you.

Another cool plant you can get for decorating that would go well with the other ones is the withering weed. Another is the tall white ones with blood oil on them, or also the gabe's feather plant.

If you leave the 2 salts in the machine, doesn't it only make water as long as you never pick it up?

+FrenziedRoach Yeah, two of the slots are designated for salt and the other two for water. So if you leave 2 salts in there it will stop making salt and just produce water.

Since I didn't get to the previous episode until late at night, I'll put it here. If you want to never have to deal with reinforcing the base again, just build a tower of multipurpose rooms all the way to the surface, and put reinforcements on every wall space in the whole thing. As long as it's connected to the rest of the base, you'll effectively have unlimited base health unless you start putting window on every single wall in the whole thing.

Call it the Tower of Power, and pretend it's a nanobot creation facility. Also, if something goes catastrophically wrong, there's a surface-level landmark to find the base again.

You should explore the underwater abandoned base. It's in the purple cave that you tried exploring before you got the seamoth.

Lights can be turned on and off of the cyclops with a new panel window that is right beside the floor hatch.

Hey Slip, dont know if you know but you can read the PDAs from the ruins you found. They're in your database, the same place you read about the animals. There's hints where other bases may be found

Sl1pg8r the hole that you went down is going to be where the lost river is located. Also if you want to see the lost river it is already in the latest experimental mode. And the lost river is connected to one of the blood kelp biomes and the inactive lava zone

To use the sonar, click the number so the icon turns blue, then just left click. Same as firing a torpedo or using the electro shock defense.

+Sl1pg8r Don't forget you have cameras on Patrick to see around you a bit. The camera icon to the lower left of pilot window. And the girl AI notified you that Catherine was at crush depth, Patrick told you later when you hit his depth.

Slip, you can put grow beds un the Cyclops and grow fruit. Never need fish or water ever again. Aquariums too!

Pssst.. check out the Lost River. Entrances are in the deepest parts of both blood kelp biomes, and are big enough to easily navigate a cyclops through.

@Sl1pg8r - Just wanted to tell you the "Vertical Connector" only connects to "I, T, & X Corridors" and "I Glass Corridor" only connects to the bottom. After you connect two "Corridors" with a "Vertical Connector" between them you can build a "Ladder" there for a faster way up ;)

You should get the electric defense system, it's really useful; it's not that it doesn't work as you thought, you need to activate it and click to use it

just stop taking the salt... then it will only use power making water.. When Sonar is highlighted, left click to activate. oh, and that would be - Kathryn Janeway -

Maximum depth confirmed is 1800 meter somewhere in the Active lava zone in the experimental version. Maximum potential depth is 3 030 meter at the end of "the labyrinth" (a mysterious area who goes through all the map until the max existing depth of 3 030m )

*shudders* I have such a debilitating fear of open water and blackness around me (the kind of blackness in that first hole) that I couldn't stop shaking lol. When you were wondering if it just looped back around, the Cyclops coming into view in the murky blackness for real looked like the front of a shark or something - like a megalodon - and I had to pause to collect myself for a momentXD

Hi Slip! Try turning the excess salt from the water purifier into Magnesium to save space :)

The water filter will only ever hold 2 salt and 2 water, so if you leave 2 salt inside it, it'll only generate water from then on.

the pressure compensator is a bug i had, you need to get the blueprint first. i ended up spawning one it too
